Anyone else notice now that if you right click on the window bar while riding a griffon instead of zapping you to the position at which you would have been / dropping you you resume your path just as you left?
To me this seems as if the griffons are now completely clientside which means the possibility to manipulate where you take the griffon hehe. I'll have to peek around with a sniffer.

I did notice the other day that I could manage my inventory while on a bird. Previously I would be told that I could not do this while on a bird.

If this has been posted someplace else i appologize in advance.
I have used this lately to "pause" my griff. Very usefull in pvp if you are being chased. If you right click your bar in windowed mode it will make you stand still on the griff. you then can wait a few moments to allow the ones chasing you to pass you up. Then you simply jum off and run away.
The same method can be used to give any character SAFE FALL. In windowed mode simply jump off a high building or whatever and right click on the bar. I have found that you drag your eq2 screen down a bit to expose some of the desktop, and then clicking on the bar then the desktop repeatedly works almost 99.9% of the time. Its like it pauses you in mid air and where ever you paused from the last time in conjunction with the ground determines how much damage you will take. I tried this about 100 times jumping off the top of N`marrs station with a fury and a conj; at most i took about 300 damage each time. Watching someone elese do it they appear to be floating down. It may take you double or tripple the time to get down from where you jumped...but you wont die. even tried this in bonemire jumping from the crash site to HoF island..works there too.
