Hey guys... sorry if im beginning to sound annoying around here with my n00bish questions, but not getting any response so gunna keep asking for help. Ak'anon's guide of installing macrouss (or something) was very helpful... however, there are 3 lines in his tradeskill.ini:
a) recipes... (if i want to make packets of spice and Baked flounder, how do i set this out - yes im just starting ts).
b) first recipe...(quessing this would be packet of spice... but do i need to put in all ingredients required to make it here? - or where?
c) last recipe (guessing this would be baked floudner, but do i need to put in all ingredients require dto make it here? - or where?.

And i have C & Pasted the tradeskills.mac into macrouss... and u said to target required apparatus, and do what? click start? then do a round of ts'ing yourself? then stop, ??? ????? ????

Sorry complete n00b but really really wanna get this working, would appreciate any kind-hearted replies - and once again sorry for being a n00b.

Buy all the supplies you need for how ever many items you want to make. So if you want to make 20 what you listed you will need the following:

Packet of Spice:
20 Salt
20 Pepper
20 Fuel

Baked Flounder:
20 Coldwind Flounder
20 Packet of Spice
20 Fuel

Put the recipe for the Packets of Spice in your first button on your 0 hotbar and the Baked Flounder in your second button on your 0 hotbar.

Modify the Tradeskill.ini so that you have it starting on Recipe 0 and the LastRecipe is 1.

Have the recipe window in the top left corner of your screen, stand in front of the stove and have it selected. Bring up the macro and hit start on it. It should start crafting for ya. If I left anything out, I apologize. It's just become almost second nature. :)

If it didn't help, feel free to PM me. I work at a call center, so I have a lot of free time, and an open internet connection.

ok guys, b4 i start to try and do what you mentioned.... how do i put a recipe into a Eq2 SOE approved macro? is that what u meant to say by saying put the recipe into hotbar 0???, might know what u meant, wont delete the rest of what ive written as it shows u how stupid i actually am and how badly i need help... so, by any chance u mean to open to recipe menu, drag the icon into the hotkey 0 in the hotbar? help still needed, badly, really wanna get this working,

thanks

*so, by any chance u mean to open to recipe menu, drag the icon into the hotkey 0 in the hotbar? *

Exactly! The first hotkey button on the first hotbar. Then drag the other recipe to the next spot. So you would hit 1 for your packet of spice recipe and 2 for the baked flounder recipe.

edit: Just to clarify that a little. You won't actually be hitting those buttons. The macro will do it. :)

You can drag the recipes to hotkeys just like abilities from the knowledge book. Put recipe 1 in hotbar 0, box 1. Recipe 2 in hotbar 0, box 2, etc. I am still contemplating changing the way that works, but I REALLY dont wanna do much until XU is available for development, lol.
