The real secret is to go out and buy a basic book on Dummies guide to programming principles, to get a fundamental knowledge of how the computer stores and reads information etc..
Nothing at this level comes easy, but finding the right starting point helps, there are lots of web resources to which give you basic guides to scripting and coding.
Get this, almost all programming languages are extremely similar, once you master one you can adapt to others easily (differences is called a change in syntax). Unless you plan on getting down to Assembly code which is when you have 5 years free to study
