Installin/Setting up EQ2Service : EverQuest 2 Premium Discussions

OK, sorry for the need to ask basic questions.. ;-/ lol

I have looked through the forums (maybe not hard enough), but I am unsure on how to install WyvernX's eq2service. I have the downloaded .vbs but not sure how to proceed. Can anyone advise on what needs to be done to install the eq2service so that it uses wyvernx's .vbs? (If this information is already posted, I apologize for my lack of seeing or understanding it).

Any help would be greatly appreciated. (Ultimately, I am trying to set up Harvest bot, so I may have future questions also.. :-(

ahh yes, I have just overcome that problem myself... slowly working through these issues one at a time. You actually want to get your hands on the xui file. I found this after several hours of searching through the boards and scratching my head (I am running out of hair to pull.)

As I said, I am running into these problems you describe myself. I think I am a couple of hours ahead of you though as I am still encountering some issues with crashes if I have 2 of the 3 plugins enabled when I run the game. I will try to keep you updated as to my progress if you are still having some issues.

I just wish someone would make a post "Here is how it works and the files you will absolutely need!" since with all of the random other posts it is getting a bit confusing.

If you could be so kind however as to let me know if you are successful in loading all of the plugins up and running the application. I cannot seem to keep EQ2 from crashing with XUnleashed V2 Triggers and XUnleashed V2 Macros checked through the 'Plugins' tab. Argh!!!

The drilling continues.

And dont feel bad about that. I cannot find anywhere that it might read the actual instructions other then within the post and the main thread leading to that post. I cannot say that I have seen one solid posting yet detailing the entire instruction set, but then again, perhaps I just havent stumbled onto the correct message yet. You would figure that all of these issues would be common because, really, how often have you been the lucky winner to encounter the first issue within a service that is as seemingly popular as this one?

If that is the case, you and I should run out and buy a lottery ticket!... ASAP!

Ok so sorry for ninja hijacking your post here but I am hoping that this will assist you and/or assit me. What can I say, I really want to get this to work and quick! That way I can spend a couple of hours before work (damn I am pulling an all nighter trying to get this to work!)

Stuck now on step 7 for the harvestor.

Yep.. but like I said in the PM I just shot off at ya; I am going to go home tonight, take a valuim and then take stock of exactly where I stand. As you mentioned, with all of the issues I was spewing off, its a little tough to figure out exactly where I said, even for myself. Notice to everyone, please ignore my messages from lastnight

Turnball tonight if you still are unable to get the ball roll'in perhaps I can call you and help. I am not Admin or a rep of this site but this is something I have been conned into doing in the past for some frustrated members I honestly felt was giving it their all to get it working.

EVERYONE please understand I AM NOT GOING TO DO THIS ALL THE TIME NOR AM I TECH SUPPORT so take me off your spam PM list. I do this behind the scene since I can't offer program writing skills and is my choise who I help. Just want to get that out so people don't start spamming me (cause it has happened).

I appreciate it loraik! I am hoping that I get home, fire it up and bam everything starts working. I have had that happen before after spending several hours on something. Come to find out that a fresh start fixes it. So I will give this a shot and then let you know where I stand. Once again, you rock !!
