is it just me or does nothing work right? : EverQuest 2 Premium Discussions

Xunleashed for me has been getting worse and worse, now it seems to work half-ass and turns off all the time.

the problems i am having:

1. the map plugin hasnt been updated in ages
2. xunleashed turns off all the time because it cant connect to the server, to make sure for the 1000'th time that you did not steal it
3. none of the harvest bots work for me... they just target a node, and run off to a different one
4. xunleashed constantly crashes mid-game

the 2 most usefull scripts are way neglected... the most usefull and the most neglected one is the map plugin, and the second is the harvest bot....



this is all frustrating as hell, especially for a pvp player....

is it just me? or is everything that has to do with xunleashed + eq2 totally half-ass?

Make sure you are using the 4.x client.

I even saw a post that the only bug I have ever seen with it has been fixed.

still having the problem where the harvest bot will just target a node, and run to a different one, over and over and over....

with both harvest bots.

Sounds like it is not setup correctly.

The older harvest bot may need to be tweaked as the original author hasnt updated it in a while.

Look at the logs it produces.

If you still cant figgure it out, you can post in the ask a pro forum. A full walkthrough/setup for your specific computer would be about 100-200 points.

hmm... sorry for the whining, ill deal with the problems till i have enough points to get some help tho... no errors in the logs btw.

also, i took my friends script that worked, and made an exact copy of the whole installation to my computer... still same problem... and his works

does widescreen affect this maby?

I tend to have allot of problems with sites that Make money off the communitty doing the work. In the case of Tault and now Tault Unleashed I think it is a decent investment but only if your willing to do the work. I had memberships to both and find this merged side much better than either was before.

I could not get XU to work and I burned days trying. I eventually reloaded absolutely everything and it worked finally, at least it launches in game now. The documentation is a pain on most things but welcome to a variant Hacker community. We are not really paying our fees to get a software license we are paying for access to it and then we make of it what we can. I don't think most of the people contributing to this site are making money ( I could be wrong ) so whatever you like or dislike I don't think it's fair to angry at people who as far as I can tell for the most part are paying to give you stuff. It may not be true in every case but certainly in many cases it is true.

As for your problem. You might want to measure how much you really want it to work and how much time your willing to invest. I burned way more time than I wanted and ultimately reloaded everything because I wanted it to work that bad. It does at least start now. Ultrabot is still not working and I don't know why but I'm working on it.
