Frustration doesn’t begin to describe it. I now understand why there is no free demo time on this.
I paid for the program. Downloaded it. Found the script I wish to run (Harvestbot.2.02).
I start UX, seems to start find. Registered it. Set it to EQ2. Hit play. The game starts. I log in. click on the script button at the bottom of the screen and there I stop. Can’t change to the script I want to run. When I push the arrow buttons nothing happens. Just sits on the default demo script.
I got it to change one time. Hit play on the screen and only got the yellow text telling me there is a script running but nothing happened.
What am I doing wrong?
thanks

Read the "Helpful things you should know..." thread on the EQ2 Crafting Discussion Forum. There is lots of useful information about how to use the scripts in there.

There is a help topic somewhere that basically says put the persona window behind the XU windows and you can use them.

The window's buttons dont work without a active EQ Window (aka socials or inventory) window behind it.
Scripts do require setting up. That script is simple but make sure you do that or it will NOT run.
-note: Please read the How to: to each script most cases it exsists in the downloading part of the site. However some scripts have a readme.
and some have a sticky that is rather hard to miss.

I would be really grateful if someone would just do a install walk thru. I know that there are some her and there but they seem to not work well. I would love if someone would do a walk thru with me over the phone. I have a tollfree number and would be happy to give it to someone willing to help. Or ill call you on my dime. Drop me a private message.
Please someone put up the walkthru....

Moonshadow- being an !@#$%^&* hole doesn't really help you all that much.
Did you put the persona window behid the XU window?
Oh and here's the article I was talking about...

being an !@#$%^&*? sorry you see it that way.
not sopporting your product doesn't help me very much.
in fact as far as i am concerned its not a working product.
sounds kinda like fruad?
your knownlage base is a joke.
the send in an email and i'm told to post in the forums.
it's not the job of other users to fix the problem.
the job of the person making the cash on the product to support it.
i am really sorry if i have offended you. but i am more than alittle upset at spending $25 on something that does nothing.
and all the time i spent digging through the post tells me i am not alone.

Moon, being a sarcastic goof isn't helping your case.
You didn't pay for the Harvester script it is an open dev product put up here by paying members for others to enjoy for FREE. There is plenty of help here to get it running but you aren't likely to get much with a bad attitude.
What you paid for is a 1 year subscription to the XUnleashed client and scripting service. ALL the scripts here are free and donated at the expense of considerable time and effort on the people who wrote them. THEY don't owe anyone anything and receive nothing for their efforts but an occasional thank you from downloaders .... and of course the you are all crap etc... from people like you.

I'm a user just like you buddy... in fact we all pretty much are. The difference between you and me is if I have a question about something (and I often do) I usually ask nicely. Rather than act like I didn't get my money's worth because I can't figure something out. Did you put the persona window behind the XU window? Instead of !@#$%^&* why not try what so many people already suggested? Let me try to say this as simply as possible. The XU windows DO NOT work in EQ2 unless an EQ2 window is BEHIND it. So to get it working, open the persona window and put it behind the XU window. I am 95% sure this is your issue. If you cannot use the XU window to change scripts or do anything then there is not an EQ2 window behind it. If this is not the case I don't know what to tell you....
