At the suggestion of others I am starting my own thread about my issues running the application with EQ2.

Ok so here is where I stand.

Goals:
To get Xunleashed running with the Harvestbot

So far:
So far I have downloaded and installed Xunleashed, then I installed EQ2Service Host. Then I downloaded and unzip (followed the directions as to the location) Harvestbot 4.x (current release)

When I launch EQ2, I can get to the character select screen, I just cant get to the actual game play. It crashes on me everytime, can repeat thebehavior and post anything that you would like to see.

So start EQ2 and get into play mode, I must deselect all standard plugins. I have tried all combinations of the plugins, turned one off, turned two off, turned them all off, and so far all I can do to gte the game and the app running together is to unselect all standard plugins.

When I uncheck the plugins (Triggers, Macros and Scripts) I still have the services checked so I have been wondering if I can maybe get by without one of these three loaded in order to play but so far I havent been able to get anywhere with that. I DO see the blue bar at the bottom of the game but I do not have any options under Plugin. When I try to use the left or right arrow buttons, nothing occirs. I was expecting the title "Plugins" to change to something else but no dice.

So, any thoughts? I am a little dead in the water as I cannot seem to do anything with the Xunleashed app to get any benefit from it while I am in game. I have uninstalled and reinstalled just to get back to the original game settings. I have also attempted to re-check the plugins boxes once the game is loaded and this does not seem to benefit anything as I get the same results of nothing available in the blue in-game bar.

Help :(

OK settng wise this is what I am running under options and it doesn't cause any EQ2 crashing.

DXFile (Hook1): Everquest2.exe
DXFile (Hook2): Not Used
Windowed (checked)
Alternate Hooking (checked)

Display Logo (checked)
Use Random File Names (checked)
force Redraw (checked)

If I didn't list something here then it wasn't checked or off (based on AMD CPU)

------------------------------------------------
PLUGINS
------------------------------------------------

Triggers - 2.0.0.0 - OK
Macros - 2.2.0.14 - OK
Scripts - 2.9.0.25 - OK

Wyvern's EQ2 Servicer - 1.2.9.0 - Unknown

XUnleashed Windows Input Service - 1.0.2.2 - OK

These are the things I have installed and are checked (based on AMD CPU)

With these options at the bottom of your EQ2 screen you should have three box's in the bar, Triggers - Macros - Scripts

Lets get you to this point first, don't worry about anything other than getting here to begin with.

Yes AMD's are special up here. You can never have autoupdates on or it will download the a file that screws with AMD's. Also Wyvern's Service has to be updated a special way for AMD users (see his thread for service install instructions for AMD's)

This could very well be the issue. I will see if maybe Wyvern can post seperate instructions for AMD users so it is easier to find.

Yessir, I ran the app all day yesterday on my P4. Unfortunatley my P4 is my laptop and although it is a nice out of the way machine I am still perplexed by my AMD troubles. Still digging personally but I believe I can be marked as working since I am able to get the goods now. :):) Thanks a million for all your help!!
