Hi All,
I have read and followed every FAQ and guide I could find and
I still cannot get Scripts to run on XUnleashed. I select the script (any script) select Compatibility and start it. On the small window I see starting script and then... almost immediately before anything else happens, Scripts Stopped.
I have two XUnleashed accounts and am running it on two separate computers. One has Nvidia and the other ATI video cards. I had everything work before LU24 and since was waiting for Wyvern to get the EQ2Service update up I decided it was a good time to reformat both of my PCs.
Now I tried everything I could think of to get XUnleashed working again. I deleted and reinstalled the XUnleashed folder 3 times on both computers. I installed two Microsoft Scripting Services (regular and debug). I tried running XUnleashed with or without DX Hooks (cant get the ingame taskbar without hooks) and I tried it while running EQ2 in different resolutions. My whole MSCONFIG startup is cleared. Nothing runs in the background when I get into Win XP. I made sure to install XUnleashed this way too. Btw, I installed the newest XUnleashedTest version everytime.
Here is my
XUnleashedLog.txt
- In this Log session I tried to run the mouse demo script 4 times.
If anyone can give me help or suggestions Id really appreciate it. I did find this on one FAQ:
Q: XU 4.x Runs fine But Scripts dont.
A: Delete your entire XU folder. Also make sure you dont have fraps, anti virus and other programs running. Open up xu and the program you want to use with XU. Open the XU Task bar, and then install the plugins needed for the specific game EX( EQ2service + EQ2unleashed Radar). If your game is workings then try doing a test script such as the mousemovedemo. For some games you need to make sure the compatibility checkbox selected which comes us with some scripting plugins.
From what I understand it basically says to detele and reinstall EVERYTHING again with nothing running in the background of Windows. If I'm misunderstanding it, someone please let me know.
