With the addition of the new earring to this quest line, you can exchange your current thuuga item for the earring, then buy back your ring.
Sure they will nerf this quickly, so be for-warned when they do, you will lose your ring.
Wallah, two sweet fabled thuuga items.

They have taken out the npc to finish this quest, until they can fix it 2/11. Hope some of you received both.

If you did this you are gonna be poorly out of pocket. They will not only take your extra rewards from you but you are going to loose your plats you paid to buy-back, and end up with a reward you prolly didnt want.

I was able to do this just the other day.. I sold my healer item to the merchant.. got the trade in and purhased it back from the merchant.
