was working - now getting strange error with buffbot2.2 : EverQuest 2 Premium Discussions

i start up the program ok - it loads everything - and then soon as the heal windows pop up - it stops script.

looking at the log --- there are no errors.. (it worked all last night)

i added some to initial combat sequenece - then reloaded it --- it didnt work... so reverted back to working script -- and now getting error..

not sure what happened... but again log has no errors....

this is closest thing i can think of..

well fixed that warning - now i start up the script - it loads through all the libraries... just as its finishing - the 2 windows pop up in the top right corner... then it goes to ALL SCRIPTS STOPPED = and stops...

i open log... last thing that happened was it tried to send a consider string..

all scripts stopped means it encountered a bug/error in the script.

I would suggest finding that last executed line and find out what happens before the next debug line out.

i appreciate the attention - however im at a loss as to what to try..

i posted the end of the logfile there... there are no erros..

gonna wipe the ini and start a fresh one - see if i get it working from scratch..

i deleted and reinstalled xunleashed. got it working now. something must be wrong with that ini - just odd the logfile had no errors and it wouldnt work.

thanks for the help...

and outta curiousity if you could look at those i sent, let me know what was wrong.. cant for the life of me figure itout :)

I looked at the INI and Log file, nothing was wrong with them that I can find. Doesn't mean some combination of settings was causing a bug, but I can't find it. The log was stopping in VerifyChatLog(), which just looks for the consider message to ensure the log is working. It is sending the "f" key, then no more, so something was tanking in that function, but I have no more insight into it w/o you being able to recreate it and me adding more debugging to determine which line it was failing in. If you use that same INI, does it still fail?

Sounds to me like the problem several ppl had with the buffbot after live update 5, but that should be fixed.

thanks for spending some time on it richy.. i backed up the ini (that i sent you) and i completely uninstalled everything.. (cause i simply couldnt get it to run)

With fresh install - updated service.. created new INI from hand.. it ran fine...

I saved that ini... put old one in just now.. same error.. so something is wrong lol just glad im not the only one going crazy trying to see what it is..

anyways,... got it working woo yea...
and now to DL 2.3 lol

i got a question -- what would the Response of Combat SEquence have ot be....

hmmm how to phrase this... Say i wanna send a tell to my bot -- DO YOUR HO...

when he received that order.. hed do one HO -- ( i didnt want it to constantly do it) and i tried to set up a response or combat sequence but had a prob with the HO trigger..

qb3,Divine Providence,1,0s,0s

is that an ok line.. anyone toss a simple priest HO there.. or an exmaple of their line theyd use to send a command to bot so the bot would do one HO.. thanks!

Sauronrx - I will try to run your INI in my bot to see what is up - worries me that it just stops as I have written a lot of logic to make sure that invalid INI's give real errors, not crashes... but you must have worked harder than me :-)

As far as the HO - no issue at all with what you are trying to do. I would put it in the ResponseSeq, make it a MASTER command so only a valid master can send it to him, and have it trigger the HO on the command - set it up and send me the INI string only if it doesn't work so I can look at it.
