Harvesting Exploit : EverQuest 2 Submissions

Im not sure if its been said before becuase this is my first time here and am very interested in your work.

Lately I've been harvesting and when I see other people come up or i see a node way out of reach above me or in an area that will not let me harvest.

I click on one node to start harvesting it and then click the other one or tab to it and it continues to harvest from the node that i clicked on, not the one that I started from.

I find this extremly useful in harvesting in the T6 Croc caves.

This does not work on different types of nodes though .. aka harvesting vs mining.. doesnt happen.

I read this and went into TT and started harvesting rocks right next to the droags. This is awesome, I did notice that there is about a 100 meter limit though, but still you can harvest something like 30 feet away and your clear. Works great with groups around and they have no idea whats being harvested and by who.

This had been nerfed a long time ago. You can't harvest a node thats out of range like this anymore.

I was using this last night and it works i was hitting nodes that were out of reach and out of my range. It has not been nerfed

I'll have to try this tonight. Does it have to be line of sight?

I didnt use line of sight but i always harvest in third person. Im not sure , you might need to be able to see it. I was just surprised that i was able to harvest those "stuck" nodes. The ones in the walls and the ones in the celing that are normally out of reach. I really like to be able to harvest with people around and gank them of their nodes while it looks like im having a hard time harvesting mine. They are not the wiser. IMHO this is worth a premy

This did work for me last night. But the range is not very huge - I would probably around 10-15m.

This works very well and I have harvested many rares because of it. I can hit the rocks that are right next to mobs while standing well out of range. I had to look but yah it seems that about 30 meters. Still 30 meters is a nice distance to stand away from agro and be able to harvest in safety.
