Okay, this is my first bot... I am an idiot, I cant post with my premium account cause I chose a name that might implicate me... So i made this account to post the bot with. (Dont be pissed at me admins, I am kind of mentally challenged)
I figured i would post my code instead of a stand alone, so other might be able to benifit from it... and hopefully improve upon it!
This is a simple bot, all it does it targets the closest node and harvest from it. It runs to the next one and repeats.
I dont know vbscript very well, but it seems simple enough.
Anyhow... This bot it designed for the common lands (tier 2 mats) /edit It works in any zone that you have the baddies greyed out, just type in the name of the harvestables in the correct place and hit start End edit/ and you should harvest in areas with nothing but greys... This bot doesn't include working with paths or anything, all it does is finds the closest harvest node or collectable, runs to it and gathers, So its only useful in areas where the mobs are grey
On the left side are the start and stop controls, and some info that is mostly for debugging, though its pretty useful anyhow... on the right are the names of the node you want to harvest. They arent labeled yet, so if you delete a name out of the text box, you might not remember what that type of harvest is.... since there arent any ini files, everytime you want to run it, you have to manually change the names of the nodes.... which sucks... but give me a break hehe
Also the check boxes next to each edit box dont function yet, i plan on enabling them soon...
You have to set up you gathering skills in the 1-6 quick keys
1 Gathering
2 Foresting
3 Mining
4 Trapping
5 Fishing 'Does nothing, i didn't want to write fishing in, sorry
6 Collecting
There are a lof of problems with the bot, but the most annoying is turning... if the heading toward the object is less than 10 degrees or more than 350 it can cause problems like spinning out of control... and sometimes you have to right click in the EQ2 window after you click start to get the focus to work properly... (if someone could help me figure this out it could help alot, i do have it focusing and such, but it doesn't seem to work right, run the script to see what i mean)
Oh yeah... this bot isn't intended for unattended botting, i dont ever like to do that personally, plus if you end up running in circles, it could means a suspension or ban, so turn on a movie or something and glance at this every now and then =)
download all 4 files, it need the bmps to run, though i might get rid of em and switch back to buttons next release
Anyhow, i guess you all read enough now.... so load up eq2extreme and have at it =)
