Ok the recent version of the aeries fisher has a few problems. In the handler, the readme will work but the launch button doestnt work. This probelm has been reported to aeries on the forums on the AC tool page and hes working opn a new version that should fix the problem.

For the Aeries bot, you do NOT have to attend it. Just simply turn off tell handling. At least, thats what I did <.< Then again, I don't do much unattended macroing. It's mainly so when I'm bored with FFXI, I can fish and play a game else wise and still get something on FFXI done.

That kind of sounds like something is conflicting with it. Maybe you don't have the resources for it and it just refuses to go farther? Er..hrm...I'm sorry, I can't help ; ; I'm running off 4 hours sleep and my brain refuses to work...I'm sorry

If you're running Windows XP, it should come with an unzipper. Just double click it, it'll open up the contents in a window. On the side bar, select "Extract Files" or something like that. If that doesnt happen OR you're not running Windows XP, then go to http://www.winzip.com/ and download Winzip trial version. Unzip it that way, it's pretty simple if you put it in Wizard mode. (Classic mode is a tad more confusing if youd on't know how to use it)

OR... you can just mute the /tell channel. If you're flagged as away, it looks more suspicious to the GMs. You're more likely to be caught using your script if you do that.

Blah, this is kind of a rough-around-the-edges bot. I think ill wait for a new version to come out, let them clear bugs up and stuff.

after install and tested this bot for > 10 hours. >_< I found some bug issue as follow.
1. Bot didn't reload bait when no bait or no rod equip. 2. When ppl talk around the bot. sometime make bot malfunction. 3. some delay for each function too fast. make bot skip or didn't do some function. 4. sometime it exit from fishing and don't do anything. 5. when bot use auto sort item. if bait is in the last list of your inventory. it make bot malfunction. 6. ^^; didn't found yet.
but after i tried to fix this bug ( and i can fix it ^^ yey! ) this bot is working very good.
Now i running it for testing at my home. hope i'll get more fishing lv after i go back ^^
