Everyone is reading into the overload thing way too much. It is actually quite simple if you just play the job a little bit.
Overload's occur when you go top heavy on any single manuever. If you are pumping for example Ice manuever hard core with the mage puppet, and only a Dark Manuever every other fight or so, u will eventually overload on one of the ice manuever's Once you have overloaded on that element and it wears off, if you attempt to cast ice manuever again, it will overload a 2nd time. The only way to reduce the burden of the ice manuever at this time, is to cast a different manuever, to balance the Load on the puppet, after 2 or 3 different manuevers, u can cast Ice again without overloading. That is all there is to it.
Why arent we putting all this energy and research into something that actually matter's, Like why You only get the Stat bonuses ( STR, DEX, AGI) etc, on your last 2 manuevers to wear off.
When you cast your first Manuever, you do not get the stat bonus from it. If you stack 2 more manuevers on after the inital 1st one, then when, and ONLY when the First manuever that was cast wears off, do you get the bonuses of the last 2 manuevers. I would like to see some reasearch into these things, instead of something as silly as overload rates. its way too easy to avoid overloading, so why are we so concerned with it. Lets focus on the other more important unanswered questions about this job.[/url]
