I'm sure most of you know by now that by engaging and disengaging quickly between weapon swings you attack quite a bit faster than you do by normal means. This isNOT cheating and you will not get suspended or warned for it. The only problem is... it's very annoying to have to engaged and disengage after every attack. So, for my sake, I programmed it to do it for me using autoit3. I'm not a very good
programmer by any means and the program is really very simple. All it does is quickly use the arrow keys to select engage and disengage buttons at timed moments (that can be adjusted while running), and activate them. This works just perfect for me, though you do lose the arrow keys during attack mode and when you're running from a monster make sure to exit the program XD.
The second feature I added was for my ranger. I believe this is the only mmorpg i've played that requires you to manually shoot every single shot, which again, was very annoying to me. So after working on the melee portion I added support for auto-ranged attacks, which basically just presses ranged attack macro until monster is dead. Not very complex, but hey, it works.
Neither of these features can be used to BOT or go AFK while playing the game and are not meant to be modified or used in an auto-fight macro or whatever. Like the windower, this program is meant to make FFXI more enjoyable for all (except mages!). If I had a mage character I'd help you out ; ;.
Just a few final words
-The program will know when you are attacking and when the monster has died.
*Oh important: make sure you have hardware mouse turned on (FFXI Config)
-You can start the program whenever you want. Everything is done with pixel colors and basic key presses. If the program doesn't work, try using the Dark Blue interface (don't remember the number), but I tried a few and they all worked.
-Turn off program if you might have to run!!
