Azaril's Windower 3.0 : FFXI General Discussions

Just though I'd let you know Azaril has released a new version of his windower. It features a movable FFXI window (real windowed), a console for giving it commands, winamp plugin, gamma adjustment, and a whole slew of features. IMO he's outdone himself greatly.

Woo.. just tested this with xunleased.. and i have no problems running any scripts..!

just point your launch path to the windower executable and make sure that windowed mode or dialog are both unchecked!

The new windower is WOW! it is awesome!


But I can't seem to get XU to work with it. I can make XU launch it, and it will run with all the features of the new windower, but how do I make it show the XU taskbar? I tried CTRL+INSERT+1 etc and that didn't work. I tried changing the resolution of the game which made the windower into a window instead of psuedo-full screen.... But no matter which way I did it I didn't have the XU taskbar nor access to the XU scripts. Any advice appreciated!

I have fixed the bugs in the XU Windower mode for FFXI.

These fixes include True windowed mode (ie with minimize box, and movable window). You no longer need to check both windowed and dialog mode. I also beleive I have fixed the problem with gamepads not working correctly with XU in windowed mode.

This will be released a little later today the 7th.
