banned for RMT? : FFXI General Discussions

i hear plenty of ppl admitting theyve been banned for hacks, and countless of the " i never hacked " stories, but still banned. i was wondering is it possible those people were banned for RMT? buying or selling? has anyone ever been banned for it before? :O shiva has probably the most RMT around and ive never once heared a story about it. then in the recent SE message they said they banned rmt accounts (yet all the rmt are still there) , so just curious and bored while LFG.

its possible. im sure SE tracks mules that send large amounts of gil to random people. then they probably ban the RMT mule and suspend/ban everyone who recieved gil from the mule. i think SE is banning the RMT mules with tons of gil, which is why the RMT farmers are still there.

i read one story that the guy got suspended because he been bazaaring and most of his customers were RMT. sound kinda suspecious to me but anyway we'll never know.
