Try Ebony Puddings in Mt Z in the new expansion areas... they are soft like butter when it comes to magic but you gotta watch out cause they have Tier 3 aga's and Tier IV single spells

on my server these things are almost camped now, theres alwayse a exp pt there. if you have friends with sea along with you just go to a crag entrence and you can kill sharks nonstop for the same exp and never see anyone the whole day.

Neither have I, I guess we migh be seing some party friendly abillitys? idk we will find out soon.
On another note, at 75 BLMx4 rdm+brd is best, as most mobs drop within 4 tier4 thunder nukes.
Got 50k xp in 2.5 hours the other day in Mount Za...w/e its called(Halvung staging point)

just wanted to say that they aren't weakening BLM, but their making it to if the same tier spell is cast upon the same mob it will do less dmg, so no more manaburns. I assume they only make this for nonNM mobs *because kirin would be a pain if u can't keep using Aero*
It's also said that they are adding new BLM spells... I personnally solo in mount Z and it's fine.
Idea: maybe SE will put a time between casting that lower dmg. IE: after 5sec. of casting thunder4, you can recast it for sam ammount of dmg. which will stop manaburn pt's.

look littleguykoyo...that BLM nerf was a joke. I didn'y notice it tbh. - Seriously - if it reduces damage, it's by like 3%.

all of you saying 'yea they're gonna change how blm works in parties'....
yea dream on with the misinformation, or are you all still waiting for blood pacts to be based on summoning magic skill? or how about thf getting an offensive boost from perfect dodge? or how about wars throwing their axes? seriously, how much do you want to make "thinking about..." into "we are implementing..."
these are all well and good ideas, but the smart money is to wait and see what actually happens, because unless SE actually says something like 'the following things will be changed in this maint.,' then don't believe it.
and its not even a balance issue anymore, if you have ever seen the tp burn parties chew up mobs for exp that rivals manaburn.

TP Burn exp 55+ puts even the best manaburn groups to shame now. The difference is about 3-5K an hour.......
I as a BLM now am reduced to making parties of something like WAR, WAR, WAR, NIN, BLM, RDM.
No prizes for guessing who's leeching xD.

What they're nerfing is:
Dynamis
most big HNMs.
And whose that going to hurt most....the people who rely on BLMs to kill those mobs for them. TBH BLMs get very little from these, so it's not BLMs who are getting hurt, it's everyone else.
Kirin is going to suck - no Chi Blast or Aero IV, and Diabolos prime is going to be a nightmare (lol).

Ill correct you, what they are attemptug to nerf is, Dynamis and most big HNM. Dont know how Kirin will be as my ls does 5 runs every 3 weeks. Did a 2k MB on Nidhog at around 40% HP...not much nerf there...
Heres a link to a Manaburn Dynamis shell on Asura, there are 2 post's one by an ls leader on some diff server(also manaburn) and one by an ls leader on ifrit I think(manaburn again) all three linkshells did Dynamis-Sandoria as their first run after the 'Nerf" and each one LOLed at what SE has done, litelary nothing. One claims to have felt an itch of "nerf" but all took it down without any problems.
Link HERE
Two thereads to look for are "Are you worried" by Zimster and "Black Magic Resistance" by Lurka
