dont hate me cause your poor, i dont got the time too farm all that gil nreeded for the eq that i want ... so i buy. if prices didnt remain so inflated i wouldnt have too buy the gil too buy my items

Dude the inflation affected EVERYTHING meaning what you would normally farm sells for higher as well, also, buying from NPCs and selling to AH is easy and only takes a few mins each day

I find that amazing to say... on a site where scripts are made to give you an advantage over other players?!

How is gilbuyerizing any different from using a script? It's pretty much the same thing, at least the same ballpark.

And gilbuying does not destroy the economy, thats just peoples greed and impatience to wait for an item.

I aint gonna say ive never boughten gil. i mean i did once which sadly i wanna say i wish i never did. but eh it was 50 bucks for 15 mil off some website i was like wow... i have 10 mil on me i can more than double that for 50bucks and i can get my SH+1 =) so i said screw it did it. then this is why i wish i didnt. cause i was in town i see this guy synth a SH+1 iwas like holy crap so i /tell him he says sure give me claw i can try i go buy claw for 9mil and he crafted it and got a SH+1 =) so i gave him a mil tip and was on my way. but hey i guess its not all bad i still had the 15 mil. but i usually just farm all my gils. well actually usually.. hmm thats not right i ALWAYS farm my gils except that once but anyways yeah i use the bots and before everything became RareEx ZOMG i was making hella monies with these bots but now it sucks cause the mobs i used to farm are all rare ex now -.-

gil buying isnt at all wrong, not everyone is in there moms basement playing 24/7, ppl work, kids who DO play all day decide to make a little money and farm FOR them, itsn o different than mowing some guys lawn in rl for a couple bucks -_- .

I agree with syztems. Boils down to time=money one way or another.

One thing to remember is,

This game WAS designed so that you have to spend a LOT of time playing, including farming/etc, to make Gil to buy stuff.

The argument that one does not have time to farm, to buy gear, is understandable, however, that person must accept the fact that the game was DESIGNED to have you spend a lot of time farming.

Personally I don't buy gil, I would feel bad if I did, as if I didn't work well in the system to try and make money and my items. Although I have been tempted many many times to do so, esp during christmas.

As for me being on this site, so far all I'm using is the CTS Tool which is invaluable. And I love it

I find nothing wrong with buying Gil, I do it because I work and dont have time to spend farming for 6-8 hrs and wanna enjoy playing for the 2-4hrs that I do have time for. And Admin when is the new service gonna be up?

I have bought gil, i admit to it. The problem lies as it has been said before in the people who can't wait and pay 2x the normal price or more for the motherf****r who has the only one on the AH jacked sky high in price. I think people who buy gil and work for a living do what they can as do those who have all day and night to farm/bot nms. I also do know however that people buying gil is going to keep becoming increasingly difficult as SE has said in their most recent interviews at Fanfest they are planning on more measures against RMT.

Buying guild doesn't even come close using scripts and the like to farm your own gil.

For one you aren't supporting anyone but yourself if you use a script. Gil sellers affect EVERYONE! They use tactics that are ruthless to get their gil and ruin the fun for a LOT of people. Stories of them stealing already claimed mobs are on these forums. And you are supporting their efforts by buying the gil.

If you don't have time to write a bot or edit one to make money then you don't have time to play the game; it's as simple as that. Buying gil ruins for the for anyone who has to compete with those !@#$%^&*.

and its the most likely reason that drove other people that can't win NM or other competion to buy gils to get what they need.

I laugh at how widely knowned NA HNMLS complain about RMT's when they are contrubiting towards gil demand by trying to hog all the NM's from the weakist to the hardist 24/7 due to greed and how they complain about the JP getting all the claims when it's the fact they have better bots.

some people found a lot of advantage with the inflation going on, I made at least 5mil every one to two weeks, off of farming mats, synthising them into higher lvl mats and selling them for a higher price, and also items that were sold for lower price is now being sold for higher price.. I got my SH, now I am like 3mil away from buying a wyrm horn! and another lovely thing about it, as I am stoping lvling and farming gil, I am seeing the Bleu Dloch droping a mil or 2 every 1-3 weeks .. it used to be 25mil it's now 15mil on my server! =)
