Crafting gil at lv 1 : FFXI General Discussions

Helllo,
I would like to post my way of making lots of gil, i would like premium membership but thats for everyone else to decide.

The way i make gil is by de-synthising flutes for parchment and sometimes maple lumber.

so the recipe is lightning crystal+flute.
The cap is lv 1 but i failed quite a bit so i advise maybe lving to 5

Your best bet is to buy your crystals or get them of goblins outside Bastok.
You sould buy flutes in the music shop in bastok for 43gil

My server(lakshimi) has sky rocketed in everything, a stack of parchment is going for 28k.So we will determine the profit on my server.

cost per stack: ligthning cluster (2500-3000)+flute(43)=2500+516=3016
profit per stack:28000-3016= 24984 gil

so that is alot of profit from a lv 1 woodworking recipe.

btw its best you dont have too many on sale or other ppl will sell lower than you,you sould only sell in Jeuno and Sandy(woodworking guild)
parchment is also used for the bard quest so you could sell some of them they go for 3000 on my server.
