um, i really think you should approach your parents about this. make it clear with your parents that you want to continue playing the game. also, try telling them that if your parents take the game away, then the threat was at least successful in keeping you from the game. say you don't want to back down. this is more than about the game now--this is about how you manage threats, or rather, how you are trying to hide/keep secrets from your parents

are the threats continuing? the poor fact about SE's stupid privacy policy is that you do not know what the GM does about calls or how GMs investigate. it could be the case that the players who issued the threats were sent to mordion gaol, given a stern warning, then released. unfortunately, there is no rule for GMs saying that a death threat issued in the game will earn an automatic ban. if the threats are continuing, however, then the GM obviously did not address the situation, and you need to follow up.

in that case here are some options:

1) ask to speak with a senior GM about the situation. you have a right to know if the GM attempted to investigate the veracity of the threats.
if that does not work,
2) send an e-mail to SE customer service detailing the situation, feel free to demand information
if that does not work,
3) send a telegraph (yes I said telegraph) to SE corporate detailing the problem. at this point, you should remind SE that they are in an actionable situation

How would I contact a senior GM? I'd rather try every available option before going to my parents...

call a GM but ask to please be connected to a SR GM. might take a bit but after a while a SR GM will send you a tell

idk if you want to go that far but, maybe try calling se like someone said befor hand or caling a GM outside of the game itself. you have the CC info that is on the account or at least the PW's and account number right? GMs in game have no power (so they say) and this just shows it even more. i think steps to do atm is

1) take down any names in game that do this to you
2) call a GM in game again tell them this is your 12th try
3) make a GM cal outside the game from pos( i think this can be done)
4) call SE tell them you have had many death calls w/e and say something hase to be done
6) write a letter saying how you have tryed calling many times made many GM calls and get no one hase done anything.
5) call 911... (hope it dont get to this)

calling the cops should be the last thing you do. each time you get a /tell like this put them right away on /blist and take the name down day and time. this will give them a time to look at the logs.

i have no clue how long they hold onto the logs but if its long you can do what the fbi does sometimes. get the person doing the act like 100+ times if se wont do anything about it then go to the cops.

if you have a person doing something that is not right somewhere aroun 100 times and you have called it in se will be held responsible for the act if god forbid something was to happen to you.

Well... It happened so long ago that any threats would be null by now since now legal action has been put into affect.... And that bastard hasn't talked to me since... But when he does... I'll SS it and get times/other info and send to GMs, SE, phone, emails, whatnot until he's banned.

on a related note, tier-one GMs have very little power, as their abilities are limited. if permanent action is necessary on an issue, a tier-one GM will refer the issue to a senior GM who makes decisions that will make significant decisions (e.g., banning accounts, generating lost gil from the AH, altering inventories). tier-one GMs have the authority to send you to jail, collect information, send you to your home point, pos.exe move your character in a zone, and temporarily suspend accounts if absolutely necessary.

looks like a pretty old thread but anyway, if the threat is via real phone, just contact your phone provider to track him down and throw police on him. its real call, deal with it realisticly is better.
