FFXI time out : FFXI General Discussions

Hi guys, I know it's gonna be hard to get any help on this topic but i've been getting quite a few time out error these days and am not sure if there's any suggestions. I'm using cable so my internet speed should be ok. Can anyone give me some suggestions on what can be done?

turn off all bit torrent clients, check for spyware/viruses, and so on and so forth

keep in mind you can still time out with cable. when you begin to get a R0 do /cm t <me> and start spamming gibberish/ pressing space bar and up and enter to keep using the previous line works also. doing that for me 9 times out of 10 those spams enough packets out and then download starts as if an outgoing packet got stuck so the spam force more pressure and got rid of it. well thats what i do and it works so try it yourself.
