Hello, I have a laptop that have all minimun requeriments for playing FFXI except the graphic card. FFXI requires ATI or Nvidia to play and I have an Intel graphic card.
Ok now looking at windower forums I have seen that with windower you can play FFXI with Intel graphic cards but first of trying it (installing nd updating FFXI on my laptop) I want to know if someone can confirm if it works or if someone have seen or have a tool/hack or something to play in none ATI/Nvidia graphic cards (Intel in my case).
Im very busy to stay 3 or 4 hours installing FFXI and updating for then have a You dont meet requeriments message...
The reason you cannot easily play with an intel graphics card is because it does not support Hardware T&L I believe. There are programs, that I forget the name of, that will allow you to emulate Hardware T&L. Either someone will post after me giving you the name of one, or just simply google a search for a program that will accomplish this for you.
But yes, you can play ffxi without an ati/nvidia adapter.
I tryed 3d analyzer, azrils windower, japanese windower, xunleashed windower... not tryied all options but the most common sence options. All says the T&L error or make FFXI crash.
I need help please someone who have done it or know how to do it please!!
Unfortunately, there are minimum requirements your video card must meet to be able to handle FFXI.
http://support.intel.com/support/graphics/sb/CS-011910.htm?iid=graphics+830main& I spent a good ammount of time searching for a way to force T&L support, but failed. Is the laptop video card upgradeable? If it is not, I doubt you will be able to play FFXI on the laptop.
