how is it would you say its a good game tell me some highlights and stuff please i am goin gto consider playing it

hows the interaction with other players and such is tehre PvP?

whats the lvling system like anything you can compare it too ex. another version of FF?

If u ask me, i think tt it is one of the best games around. ^^ there is pvp, have tried it. ask Kioto about it ^^. The graphics are one of the best in the game available now. many things related to previous series... if u r a FF fan, u definitely must this. ^^ Square also make sure u interact with other players... lol once u reach lvl 10, u have to form parties to gain more exp and cannot solo. Unless u are a beastmaster... but u will get tt later in the game. ^^ come play^^ tell us what server u are when u join too.. ^^

Interface is a bit clunky.. The entire game is a bit slow, theres nearly a second delay between hitting attack and attacking, or stopping attack, or getting up from sitting.. after casting a spell or doing some action in battle it usually takes a second for it to show up on text, like damage / heals etc..

Decent amount of time sinks in the game.. combat is somewhat boring, especially after CoH.. Travel times are a pain.. running is slow.. chocobo is ok, but the land is pretty big.. boat and airship are ok, but ya gotta wait a while for them to get there to get on, then a bit more for the trip..
Lotsa quests your pretty much forced to do, level cap quests, armor quests, subjob, chocobo, airship etc.. need to repeat lotsa quests to get enough fame to do various other quests.

User interface is not very customizable. If you have 1 window opened you can't do any actions, like attacking or casting.. You can't scroll back in the text window without going to a large text window, which prevents you from attacking or casting. Lots of little frustrating things to get used to compared to other mmorpgs.

I've met sooooo many people that have played and just gotten bored of the game after not too long.. I got bored of combat pretty fast, around level 20 or so and just did crafting for a long time.. then got back into leveling.. pretty bored of the game right now. Hmm.. can't think well tonight.. I know before I practically could have written a book of the things in FFXI that pissed me off. But I've been playing CoH for the last month.

In my opinion the fun level is like this..
1-7 fun
8-30 just alright. relatively hard times here.
31+ fun
50+ Very fun

Cuz during very low level, u can level up quite fast so is quite good. as u proceed to form parties, u will face the bad times. Low lvl are usually new players and dun noe much about what they shud do in a party. after dying a few times, they will learn tho... lol. when u reach mid-level, u will start dealing decent dmg, so will be kinda fun to c urself doing so much dmg ^^. 50+ = insane dmg.... but monsters have insane hp too.. lol. but by looking at ur dmg, u will feel contented i think..haha..maybe not.

Because FFXI have many things in it, crafting, fishing, quest, missions .etc. u won't feel bored at it cause u have so many things to do. ^^

personaly i liked 35-50best, Your starting to get lot of posibilties and can make quite nice party's with good players.
51-60~ is like X.X, levling suddenly takes so much longer time
60+ is ok, gotten used to slow levling

Best game i have played so far. and after is eve online, then it goes back to the 1st person shooters.

I don't see whats fun about 50+. Leveling is slow. Fights are boring and long. Its the same stuff you've been doing for 50 levels, just slower and longer. Nothing is new really, cept now to level you need to constantly do annoying level cap quests. It becomes a bit harder to get groups often, especially depending on your job.. I didn't have that problem as a bard.. but still.. alot of my groups weren't very good either and often had a hard time killing stuff and took several min per fight, which ment a level took a pretty long time.

There is lots to do in this game.. but not all of it is really fun.. and alot of it is kinda slow. I just know soooo many friends have gotten bored of the game pretty fast.

But I am only focusing on the bad here ;p there is some good as well, but you asked for the bad ;p

Well... different ppl got diff views... maybe some thinks that doing high dmg ( which u can only do in higher lvls) is fun. even tho the fight is tough and stuff. ^^

hmm... i agree with kioto. Best mmorpg i played so far. then it will be the normal rpgs then first person shooter games
