Ok, I've been scripting With ACTools for nearly 3 years now. Has always done what I want but with the new FFXI update to fishing ACTools has had it. ACTools is linear so I can't check and push buttons @ the same time so It's dead in the water so to speak for fishing.
Any luck here with a script that works Well. Is Xunleashed Fast and Efficient enough to handle FFXI New fishing system?
I did see one new fisher, but it had some complaints about how well it worked. I'm a potential paying customer if the answer is yes and bug in new fisher is fixed with no complaints.

I am certainly a new customer, if XUleashed is able to handle fishing in the new system? Is there even a bot out for the new system? Thanks for any help!

Currently the only fishing bot is for when you're higher skill than the fish. (Like fishihg moat carp with 30+ skill works fine.)

So Shall Shell (54) and I'm 99 skill will work? Hmm... Maybe I'll try it out. Honestly I lack the dex to do it manually 1/2 the time with the fish I've tried.

It works somewhat with easier fish. Ie moat carps, etc.
Wait about 10 hours and it will work MUCH better. I will be updating the FFXIService to include rod position as well as fish weight. This way the countering of the fish pulls will be as close as possible.

I'm a little confused, I downloaded the script from the post "XUFish 3.2 version 2 (Post Feb23 Update)" in the download section. But I heard talk of "function onFishBite() 'Added by WyvernX for 2.23.05 Patch" but searching thru my script that I downloaded I find this no where in any of the .vbs files. Was this something I was supposed to add in?
I was hoping to be able to download something that was ready to run, when I tried this script it cast just fine... but seems it immediately tries to reel in the fish after getting a bite, causing the line to snap.

It plays fine for me until it casts a fish. When a fish is caught, it starts typing dadadadada continuesly in the chat log. Why is that? Is it supposed to be spamming left-right-left-right buttons instead? How can I fix that?

A and D are compact keyboard left and right; in ACTools we had problems using number pad originally so as a solution you enable "Compact Keyboard" in the online configurations to deal with this issue. I'm assuming the same applies here; you can get the ascii values too and change A and D to those, but the simple fix is WAY easier.

Thank You Wyvernx for the Reply, was Exactly what I was hoping to hear. Hell, I can't manually reel in 1/2 the fish I won't be expecting to get every fish.
If you could make a note when I should try out your mots^^
Take Care
