For anyone having controller issues! : FFXI General Discussions

If like me you are experiancing Black screening when you try to play FFXI through XU with a gamepad... try this.

Go into your playonline config.
disable gamepad.

make sure only to do this in playonline config not FFXI config.
then you can still play with your Gamepad in FFXI.

anyway this is what worked for me so I thought I would share.
