glitch : FFXI General Discussions

allright i was fishing at the fishermans guild when i looked down there was some guy fishing in the water i talked to him he said it was a glitch but i figured he found some hack .

and...?

it's a glitch, you can fall though just about any dock in ffxi.

how i tried looking but couldnt find a way in

Once HPed to kazham to find myself under the Woodplatforms, i called a GM then started /sh others to come if they wanted to see something odd. after some time a SGM pulled me out and became visiable after i asked to see the one who saved me.

Another time while training in Giddeus i fell into a 4foot deep pond (1foot tall Taru, do the math), while waiting for a GM to save me this time i pulled yags down to keep me busy. While i was there some players pasted by and saw this large underwater fight. a few asked what mission/quest it was and how to start it.

Thankfully now i'm a 36+whm/17+blm i can get myself out without waiting 30min for a GM

how do i do this on command?

i wanna be like jesus and run on water =P

this is not a command, just a glitch.. keep running towards the wall may sometimes may allow you to walk through it. So far only worked in windurst and airship i think.

and is there any specific place at docks? could any1 post a pic?

This is kinda like the pirate ship, under water and hill in valk, then? Which means some people can only do some things, like PC players only can jumpoff the airship, and PS2 players can underwater in valk, right?

ya i have been in the ocean of valkurm dunes. i have traveled from one sea to another...underwater

Sorry I really wish i still had my old screenshots guys ;;. I used an old HP laptop and fell through docks frequently in Windurst, 3 times in one Real Life day before. So basicly to do this you need an old laggy computer. It can be done at any connection speed including 56k but you need a comp with low specs and especially a weak grafics card. One time I fell in at kazham. 5 Time in windy waters, 2wice in port windy. After the GM pulled me in port windy i was on airship dock and i got a free ride hehe ^^. If you would like to do this and piss off some GMs and you have a powerful computer, just turn up grafics and resolution waaaaaaaay up. I will post later on how to raise resolution to double the current max.
