If someone can please help me i have fought and fought with this problem.
I have a Geforce FX 5500 that i just recently purchased the thing that boggles my mind is it will work just fine under the Windows 2000 operating system with Direct X 9 installed. But how ever when I install Windows XP professional the graphis have lines running through playonline. I have tried numerous different nivida drivers and none seem to solve my problem. May it be a bios setting that is set incorrectly I have flashed my bios to the curresnt i have also cleared the CMOS serval times. Tried a Geforce 3 in both Windows enviorments and it works just fine i just can not get the Geforce FX 5500 to work correctly. May it be the fact that when i purchased this card i did not do enough reasche to find out that this card is a Mainstream graphics card rather than a Performace card. Please help me out my brain is killing me. Take care all later

Try contacting the Square-Enix support instead, they can probably answer this pretty fast.

I have the same card. I had few problem with it.. I'm using windows xp not 2000. When I updated my drivers recently, and when I cast invisible, I can see only the upper halfof the char, nd the avatrs are sometimes buggy. All I did was just Uninstall the new driver, and just started it with the drive that is came with. Not it's back to normal. I think the last drivers update from Nvidia is buggy.
