Last year around Aug, I visited Xunleash for the very first time.
Right away, I was facinated about Mr.Argus, so I then proceed in downloading it from this thread.

unfortunately, I downloaded this file and used it before the admins were able to warn me, about an hour later, my account password was changed.
I was embarrassed about this. I'm somewhat well known on the server so it was very very embarrassing to tell people that my account was stolen from XU. I did not know what I should do next.
Yes, I felt really stupid, I cannot believe I didn't scan for virus before proceeding to use a file like this. I guess I was too overwhelmed by the capabilities of Mr.argus and I really rushed things. All I can say was I screwed up big time. Yes, I feel really stupid and dumb.
So right away, about 5 minutes later, I called my friend and asked him to call a GM for me, the GM told me that I'll have to call POL to resolve this issue. This was around 9pm at night. Friday.
Great, that means I'll have to wait till monday first thing before anyone can actually help me. I knew my money would be gone by then, however, I was not concerned about the 100+ million that I had in my account, I was more concerned about my account being forever gone. To tell you the truth, it was my ultimate goal in game to achive my Cursed bd. Abj., not to mention I had full set of cursed gear. Most of them were +1s.
Monday morning, I got on the phone with POL. They inform me that no matter what happens, if you don't have the credit card info, they will not reset the password. I have my Original box, CDKey, receipt, everything in hand. And they would not give my account back. They then said to me: "How do I know you didn't sell this account?" Well, what can I say, the story I told them was that I was at a netcafe, and I was probably hacked by a key logger. So what POL suggested me to do was to contact local law enforcement, and not to go to a netcafe. What a joke.
2nd day, I could not rest because the lost was just too devastating, so I called them up again and this time I asked to speak with a manger. He was very nice and helpful, he even asked me what my POL Email password was, I gave it to him and he said it was correct. He then said:" hey, this looks good. Looks like you're the original owner after all." However we need a few more days to investigate before we can reset the password for you. I said ok.
A week later, I had no feedback. I called them up again and I asked for the same supervisor that helped me. This time, he sounded really annoyed, like I was interrupting his lunch break or something. (Which was around noon-time.) He then proceed and told me: "I never said I would give your account back, I just said I'd look into it for you. Like he completetly forgotten our conversation a week ago. I then got really really angry. (wouldn't you if you were me?) And I realize, from this point on, no staff at POL will ever help me again after I told them off on the phone.
It is now 8 months since the incident, I still can't get over the fact that I lost something that precious to me. I have another character now and I'm playing that at leisure but, it's just not the same again. Like I said, I was somewhat well known on the server, I have alot of friends that can back me up. atleast 100+ people can vouch for me.
I called them up around Janurary of this year. (5 months since the incident) They said: " someone called in and closed the account in sept, was that you?" I said no... it was probably the hacker. I said since it's closed, can I have it back now? They said sorry, if you don't have the credit card info, we cannot do anything. At this point, I was too tired to argue about it again. I know they'll probably give me the same treatment.
Yesterday, I was cleaning up my computer, I found old screenshots of my character, I was scrolling thru them, it actually brought tears to my eyes. So I decided to post my story.
I could probably call POL again now, but I know what they'll say to me, so why bother.....
So, bitchslap1, if you do happen to read this, would you be so kindly to leave me a PM or email me, I know you got my goods, I know you sold it all already. I don't care. I just want my character back.

Since you have closed it already, you probably weren't able to sell it? It been more then half a year since this happened, if you can find it in your heart to send me the password to this account... Surely, since I knew the admins were pretty fast on warning people about your trojan, so I know I was probably the only unlucky person who caught your virus.
Please, if you can find it in your heart to return something I worked really, really, really hard on.

Getting thru those times were really hard for me as I lost my job and my relationship over it. I don't even want to get into that..... I'm ashamed.
You guys can laugh at me, I probably deserve it. I just don't know what else to do anymore.
