I NEED HELP! : FFXI General Discussions

I just bought this subscription today(so far I really like it) but im sort of a noob and i cant figure out for the life of me how to use the macros! I dowloaded the new macro toolbar thing and i put the auto attack macro on it and ff11 on it but i cant access that specail macro toolbar during the game... i would really like some help asap! i wanna get on this cool macro business asap! ty for your help in advance!
