I have the PS2 version of FFXI but since we only have the one TV I have found that it would be easier if I had it for the PC so that I can play it on the PC while the wife is watching something on the TV.

So is it possible to install FFXI on my PC and use that account on there when I can not get on the PS2?

Yes, the accounts are all on the server, in fact i goto friend house and get on on his ps2 somtimes, since he has 2 ps2 and comp, i usually get on the comp since i first started on comp, he started on ps2 so it works out, but yes u can get on anyone anyway as long as u have account and pass

Thanks for the reply and the info, though I want to make sure I am clear on this. I have the PS2 version I can buy the PC version and install it on the PC, do I just login as a guest on the PC? or can the content ID I have on the PS2 be used on the PC as well? Or will I use the ID for playonline with the PC since its free and login as a guest on the PC?

just make a new thingy to login to the account. its all completely together, what u can do on ps2 u can do on comp, preferably i like comp

Nope, i could go over to ur house and get on my character in a heartbeat, its that easy as long as you have somthing to run the game you can get on any account anywhere, hope this helped you.

Though it takes some time to get used to how things work on the PC after learning the game on the PS2. I am just glad that I can now play on either the PS2 or the PC depending on my mood

Just so everyone knows to install on a PC after playing on the PS2 once it is installed you just need your PlayonlineID and password and an account name. Then you will need to setup the email within this once you login.

Then once this is setup you can then install FFXI and the updates and then play.

What is the best stuff to mix to synthesized stuff for a low lvler that would get me gil?
