Is there anyway to change my characters name? : FFXI General Discussions - Page 2

ok can someone plzzzzzzzzzzz tell me how i can do this.

Start Pol -> from it start FFXI -> click the create character button -> Select a race, face, name and job. voila, new name

Oh, and please god don't pock Sephiroth or Cloud, there's already at least 1000 alterations of those names on each server.

no i wanted to know how would i go about changing the characters name only on my computer.

get artmoney or tsearch and look up your char name. then edit it to whatever you want. you can have it as long as you want or to have more than one capital letter

I have found the best ways are to delete your charactor then call SE or GM chat and have them restore it. But before that havce a friend make a mule with the same name. BUT. I know someone who attempted this and they refused to restore it because he was talking about it on LS and someone reported it to a GM and the GM noted the account. lol

But as for tsearch is it listed on here at all I've not seen it? I don't trust getting apps posted around on the net until they are psoted here and I see someone has checked it and confirmed its clean.
