Hi, donno if this is the sort of thing that deserves a Primum account or not but... I wanted to submit engrishonry and also FFXI2En (the second is moderatly difficult to find). Engrishonry will swith out item information and name dats for you so that the auto translater will show up in english. FFXI2En will change NPC chat to english from japanese.

note: if you use tab key words in your macros and change it so that the tab key words will be displayed in english to you, your macro swill no longer work ;_; the way to get around this is to make a japanese macro set and just delete 1 character if you do not know the kanji and replace it without the tab-key function.

IE: (空蝉の術:壱) = (Utusemi: Ichi) and would be returned as Utusemi: Ichi in your macro after changing the information. To counter this, before changing the auto-translate to english from japanese, in your macro auto translate (空蝉の術:壱)　２ｘ　

（空蝉の術:壱）（空蝉の術:壱）　
and delete the last character from the first,

空蝉の術: (空蝉の術：壱）

and the first 5 characters from the second, and you have 空蝉の術:壱 without the auto translator writing it for you. Obviously, this may not be the best example... but for certain equipment if you do not know kanji this would help a lot, and utuseminojutu:ichi was the first thing that popped into my head for the example ^^;

Anyway, here are the files, i don't know where to test them at and also a test i run would not be entirely credible (^^;; If this is worth premium i would be a very happy camper '-' If not, enjoy being able to understand what people send to you now

Tault_elemex, Engrishonry comes up right away from google, but FFXI2En does not. And, I am sure many people have both the english and japanese clients here It's not that hard to get a hold of lol... so some people may find this usefull even if it's not premium material which is fine with me ^^ (though not preferable x.x)

A friend of mine has both Xu and the JP version and says that most things work with it alright, except stuff that looks at the chat logs for data (ie. the fish bot they use cannot count how many xx fish they caught unless she edits the list to include the japanese names.). With this though, those functions wouldn't be undermined ^-^ So there is a related use even though it might only apply to a few people.

sorry, i do not think that we would require translation programs here. But anyway, i think it's quite easy to do a google on this ^^;. ( because my ls site got a link to these things too. But i don't use them.. lolx.)

also... Engrish... is produced by Pebbles not really worth the premium from someone else's handy work!
