After the Dec 9 xunleashed patch my keyboard and mouse do not work correctly, they act like I am having bad lag issues, every other keystroke doesnt register.
Worked fine yesterday, and all other programs I am using while running FFXI are working correctly with my keyboard

Same here. I hate it. Can't type text at all unless I am mashing the keys.
I've set pol to cpu2 like usual and bumped it's priority to above normal. that seemed to fix it, until I tried to type in a full sentence.
I guess setting POL to high priority would help a bit more, but the problem is still there.
I don't know if I can play whitout xunleashed running... Windowed mode and the infinite wisdom of the inturdnet has become a habbit.
I will fool with the direct input options and see what happens. Yesterday at mignight it worked fine. I am guessing the latest XU patch is the source of the problem.
EDIT: I fooled around with the priority and settings, disabled keyboard input for XU, nothing seems to change it.
Is there a way to get the client we had yesterday? I guess I'll go do some other stuff today, can't play ffxi in full screen. Agh.

This might be to late for alot. But I check the forums before I start XUnleashed, and this saved me from updateing, maybe it will help others.
I disable my internet connection (which is really easy to do in WinXP) right before I started XUnleashed, so it could not connect to update the program. Then clicked on launch and then reconnected my connection. I know this is a simple thing. But maybe it will help 1 or 2 people out.
Also I just thought of this. I'm going to start keeping a backup of all the XUnleashed files incase an update breaks an old script. Could you just redownload XUnleashed? Maybe the new version is not in the download section yet. If not, I know I have my original download.

Admin, please release a fix for this, even if it's only that the XunleashedBeta.exe launches with the older version.
(Thank god I had a backup fo the xu client.)

Might be a problem with the netplay keyboard. Try your old keyboard and see if it still has problems. If it does not have any problems, then you can see if the netplay keyboard has any device driver settings you can adjust.

I am having serious keyboard lag as decribed above, but it doesn't happen until I actually try to run a script. I am not sure whats causing it but it just started today after the patch. I have tried with both compatability ( CPU unchecked and checked) and played around with the priority but it doesn't help.
