I was going to put this in the ask a pro section, but I have no question points and don't know how to get any. I only came to this website to get this problem fixed.
In FFXI, I have it installed and working on two different computers in my house using the same router. I have 1 Playonline ID and 2 Content IDs, and I want to be able to play with my sister at the same time. I was thinking this would be a problem as I was setting it all up... It says something like, "This playonline ID is already in use: POL-1039" and boots me off. I don't want to have to pay an extra $12.95 for 2 Playonline IDs, so does anybody know of any proxy stuff I can set up, or applications out there on the internet that make it so I can do this?

You need to have 2 Playonline ID's to have 2 characters on at the same time.

Alright, well if I make 2 playonline ids, will the fact that I only have 1 ffxi registration code matter?

PlayOnline ID as in an additional, paying copy of POL.
Making another POL handle won't do a thing for you in this matter.
If you want to play two at once you have to have two totaly seperate accounts. There is no getting around that.
You will have to pay 12.95 for each account to play at the same time.

ok, fine, w/e. I'll pay the extra $12.95. *grumble grumble*... That means I need new registration codes though. Does anybody know where I could buy them without having to buy a whole new box set? Like a website where they sell them or something.

there are a few but they take forever to get the keys and once it took them 7 trys to FINALLY send me the keys so it was about a week because he tried once a day. you can try e-bay and just request the keys and nothing else but you run the risk of the keys being used

I believe I might have a spare key laying around. I lost my install CD's and had to rebuy the whole game on a reformat, I had/have no use for another set of reg keys.

well another set of registration keys is exactly what you need here^^.
What some people I know did was download game from bittorrent, buy the game, take the reg keys, and take the game back to the shop. Bit dodgy (lol), but yeah.
Edit: Make sure you that if you get them from someone else, you trust them, cos with the reg keys it is possible to steal an account (well...not really steal, as such).
