hello guys clothcraft is one of the most expensive craft , but if you know how to lvl its easy..
this is how i lvled this craft.i found much clothcraft guides but they are old so i decided to make an updated one.
first its recommended to harvest stuff in west sarutabaruta or giddeus.(for the first levels)
Level 1 - 3: 1 lightning + 2 moko grass (harvesting) = 1 grass thread
Level 3 - 4: 1 earth + 3 grass thread = 1 grass cloth
Level 4 - 11: 1 lighting + 2 saruta cotton (harvesting) = 1 cotton thread (20k/stack)
Level 11 - 15 : 1 lighting + 2 red moko grass (harvesting) = 1 red grass thread (100k/stack)
Level 15 - 16 = 1 earth + 3 red grass thread = 1 red grass cloth you can sell (400k/stack)
Level 16 - 19 = 1 lighting + 2 flax flower (harvesting) = 1 linen thread (20k/stack)
Level 19 - 22 = 1 earth + 3 linen thread = 1 linen cloth ( 60k/stack)
Level 22 - 27 = 1 earth 1 grass thread + 2 cotton cloth = Heko obi
Level 27 - 34 = 1 Earth 1 Saruta Cotton 1 Grass Thread 2 Cotton Cloth = 33 X shinobi tabi (for tonko)
Level 34 - 42 = 1 Wind + 2 Bird Feather = X6 bird fletchings
Level 42 - 52 = 1 wind + 2 insect wing =X6 insect fletchings
Level 52 - 62 = 1 earth X3 Cotton Thread 1Carapace Powder, 1Distilled Water = Hunters cotton
(here its possible to make some minus cause hunters cotton dont sell very well)
Level 62 - 72 = 1 wind + 2 black chocobo feather = X6 chocobo fletching
(here its possible to make some minus)
Level 72 - 78 = 1 lighting + 2 spider web = 1 rainbow thread (300k/stack)
( its not cheap but you dont make minus anyway)
Level 78 - 80 = 1 earth + 3 rainbow thread = 1 rainbow cloth ( 700k/stack)
Level 80 - 82 = 1 wind + 2 puk wing = X6 puk fletchings
Level 82 - 88 = 1 lighting + 2 wamoura cocoon = 1 wamoura silk
Level 88 - 90 = 1 earth + 3 wamoura silk = 1 wamoura cloth
Level 90 + ??? = its to expensive till now for me ><
if i have some new recepes i will tell you...

Gil tips :
1. -make red grass cloth ( from harvesting ) and sell it for 400k/ stack.
(first way to make first millions. with this money you can go on with leveling).
If your Clothcraft Skill is higher, you can make the Barons stuff from this cloth.
2. -make velveth cloth (1 silk thread + 2 cotton thread)
buy cotton kahyan from the tenshodo in jeuno and desynthesis it to 7-9 cotton thread
(so you have much cotton thread) and now just buy silk thread
sell the Velveth cloth and you win 20-80k(prices change always) each stack ...
if you sell 10 stacks per day, you can make till 800k plus.
3. make hq from the ninja tool shinobi tabi from the harvested saruta cotton .
or make hq from kaginawa and sell them as toolbags.
(hq rules !!! : if you are 11 lvl over the recepe you make like 10% hq!
31 lvl over the recepe then you make 30% hq !
51 lvl over the recepe you make over 50% hq !.
(i dont know if its true but a high lvl crafter told me this)
and!! if you have a recepe like this : Recepe Skill-->Kaginawa(ninja Tool): Clothcraft 29 and smithing 15
and your Clothcraft skill is 90/smithing 40,
then you dont make 50% hq you make just 10% hq. here is the sub skill important NOT THE MAIN skill.
PS: the prices are random, they change always.
anyway guys (sorry for my bad english) but this is how i leveld this craft, i hope it helps some of you.

prices dependant on server, this guide should be considered out of date as soon as written (as with all crafting guides).
^^just a little disclaimer.
seems original though. Mind you - it's not bucks-worthy imo.

Nice guide. Not many websites have information on the new ToA recipes.
With the Wamora Cocoon synthesis I'm finding them quite horrible at level 82, I'm breaking them alot and not many skill up's at all, any other suggestions?

better would be the giant bird fletchings recepe (lvl 93) cause the recepe is higher and you get more skill ups than with this wamoura ..but its more expensive and its a wasting of money cause you make much minus with this recepe.... if i have new informations i will tell you all my new secrets hehe..

Don't forget to do the Rank Tests'...
8-10: Cape = Earth + 2x Grass Cloth +1x Grass Thread
18-20: Cotton Cape = Earth + 2x Cotton Cloth + 1x Cotton Thread
28-30: Heko Obi = Earth + 2x Cotton Cloth + 1x Grass Thread
38-40: Feather Collar = Earth + 7x Bird Feather + 1x Wool Cloth
48-50: Wool Bracers = Earth + 2x Saruta Cotton + 1x Wool Thread + 2x Wool Cloth
58-60: Red Cape = Earth + 2x Velvet Cloth + 1x Gold Thread
68-70: Wool Doublet = Earth + 3x Saruta Cotton + 1x Wool Thread + 4x Wool Cloth
78-80: Silk Cloak = Earth + 5x Silk Cloth + 1x Gold Thread
88-90: Arhat's Hakama = Earth + 2x Velvet Cloth + 1x Silk Thread + 1x Silk Cloth + 2x Sheep Leather
You turn them into Ponono in Windurst Woods at the Weavers Guild.
*edit:
How good are the Harvesting result for the materials you pointed out ? Since some can be bought from GUild and AH for decently cheap prices (Cheap IMO) and then Saruta Cotton is usally hard to get since people buy it out quick from the guild :Q

if you harvest in giddeus you can make like 2 stacks red moko grass 4 stacks saruta cotton und much more in 1 hour... and if you have a harvesting bot , that goes from point to point always the same route, then its easier...
but i need more help to get this bot done...

For me I found doing these recipes better (since materials were easier to obtain) for 4-19
4-8: Earth + 2x Grass Cloth + Grass Thread = Cape --> Sold to Guild NPC (if they were open, if not I dropped em')
8-10: WInd + 2x Grass Cloth = Hachimaki --> Dropped since guild doesn't buy them.
10-19: Lightning + 2x Flax Flower = 1x Linen Thread --> Keep for next levels doing Linen Cloth
* for some reason I got two Cape +1's that both sold overnight for 9k each :Q
Main reason I did those two synths was because I lready had a ton of Grass Thread (since i bought Moko Grass from Guild) and because I got a bunch of Grass Cloth from guild for <300> Clothcraft, and check the prices on things like Thread and Cloth's that you are able to make a relatively cheap price. Now make sure your check the price history, if your able to make 10k+ a stack on Linen Cloth and you see that the last sales were <1 day old then I'd say go for it.. I've made over 100k (in 1 day [about 2 hours of work])so far off Linen Cloth, it takes about 25-30k to make and sells in windy for 40k+ and 38-39k in Jueno, but it sells constantly. Also if your able to buy saruta cotton or cotton cloth in the GUild shop I'd go for it, since those sells very well and net a decent profit of bout 4k+ a stack.
* As always check prices on different products and see what works best for some easy money.
