what NM do you camp with mrargus/other bots/manual claims?
ive been camping poisonhand gnadgad lately, but im 0/4 on his drop, and its reaaaaaaally !@#$%^&* me off. A guy came by yesterday and said he was 0/20+.....and its only a 3.5M drop...
I was considering going to mee deggi or w/e for O.Kote but dont know what the drop rate is on those....must !@#$%^&* blow since they are like 8-10M on my server.
suggestions?

Don't do Mee Deggi. He's over-camped, and you'll get caugh using the hack and reported to a GM.
No matter what you do afterwards, the GM will examine the server-side logs and see that you've been warping, and you'll get suspended.
Then if you ever get caught hacking again, your account will be banned.

I do not believe logs can show warping, this is false.
A linkshell member of ours did an obvious warp from a zone line to Aspid to claim, multiple people saw him and reported him, nothing happened as he turned off the program which then makes it undetectable. Unless a GM sees it or y ou are zoning (which shows in log) you can't really get caught by a warp by these means. Scaring him isn't very helpful on these boards.

bigtex23 - can you confirm that for sure?
Until total confirmation is gained, I advise avoiding over-obvious use of Warp.
Mee Deggi can be camped with mrargus effectively though. You can camp Quu Domi at the same time as well normally, by switching locations as each one is killed.
Just turn the delay in mrargus way down (like 10), and make the macro start with a /follow.
If you stand on the bridge thing, and use /follow, you should easily get a big enough start to be able to get excellent claim rates.
Maybe try this macro:
/follow <t>
/wait 1
/ja "Provoke" <t>
/wait 1
/ja "Provoke" <t>
That should work I think, and if you take your delay down, you'll be just as fast, and hopefully able to get really good claim rates.
I have found the drop rate on Mee Deggi to be acceptable - maybe 1/6 ish.
My advice is, until we can confirm it for sure, don't use warp if there are other people near, especially if they are experienced campers or gilsellers who know what these hacks do. If they are likely not to know how mrargus works, if you use invisible spells, you should be able to pass it off as a glitch.

bigtex23 (!empty($user->lang['WROTE'])) ? $user->lang['WROTE'] : ucwords(strtolower(str_replace('_', ' ', 'WROTE'))): I do not believe logs can show warping, this is false.

No, this is not false.
I warped in a zone, one person saw me, and he said he was going to call a GM.
Two hours later (in Jeuno) I got warped into jail.
I left the zone and relogged as soon as he said he was going to report me to a GM...
So I'm certain that GMs have the ability to detect warps.
It's all server-side, so if the server sees you hopping to a position far from the one you're at multiple times (which is what will happen if you plan to camp the NM more than once), you can rest assured that you will be suspended.

It is very easy for them to check if it was possible for you to go
from one point to another within a set time. Many things send a pos flag to the server , including input in chat log i think.

i doubt that.. that means that they record everysingle thing that goes on in the entire game???? then how come when you call and complain about something that was stolen they cant help you with who made the transaction and such...so if you teleport your saying there going to go back into the game which no one was there at the time to see anything and be able to see that you went from 1 zone to another in a short time

I think you have misinterpreted Slippin777.
I believe they do record everything, and they are definitely *able* to. It is not hard for an automated system to monitor 'movement speed' of everyone, and if it exceeds ** meters per second, flag it up. By contrast, for them to investigate a trade scam, they need to know all the names, so they can do a search of the chatlog. (N.B. - All chatlog records are stored for a month. Maybe they are kept for longer, but GMs can't access them after that.)
As for what NM to camp - presuming you are using mrargus or some similar tool, you might want to try these. I am going to presume you are confident you are 'safe'.
Orctrap (rarely camped, ok drop, decent drop and spawn rates)
Mee/Quu (heavily camped, good drops, ok drop rate (if you can get it))
Could try Padfoot if your feeling ambitious (6 spawn points, garunteed drop from one of them, 21-24hr spawn time.....a would-be HNM)
Maybe Morion Worm (average drop rate, not-too valuable drop, but spawns every 15 mins. Tough to camp though.)
Basically just find yourself something, and stick at it. 0/4 is nothing. 0/20 is not much. You shouldn't get worried until your 0/100+ (stupid Hoo Mjuu >.<)

If they item was SCAMMED, like, someone was running a Casino and took your gil, they WILL get it back.
If, on the other hand, you let someone 'borrow' your item; they won't.
As far as they're concerned, you gave it away.
Something to do with the EULA.

i wouldnt say mee deggi is a ok drop rate lol, 0/20 isnt a good drop rate....i was planning on camping this for money...now im camping it just to prove to myself that he does indeed have the item lol
for MD im 0/5, but i dont expect to get it anytime soon lol...
anyways, I think im gna stick with MD camp, theres an RMT that reports me whenever I cant PH, and the MD camp is a lot more botter friendly as people are more spread out and dont see u warp too much.
today my bot was beaten for the first time tho, pissed the !@#$%^&* out of me LOL. ud think id be happy with consistent claims, but I guess mrargus just spoils u lol
i hope I get the drop soon >.<

yeah...I got 72hr suspension >.> anyone have any techniques for making mrargus warping less "reportable"...as in...ways of making less people know your doing it. And btw..not sure if this was clear, but GMs can and will check logs for warping if u get reported for it...thats why I got suspended.
Dno if im gna take a chance doing it again :-\
