increase monster rate? once again SE's brilliant idea that actually benefit bots because our script can exclude monsters pretty easily... Non botters are the ones having harder times lol.

off topic but these legit people annoy me sometimes when i haveto spend 3000 gil for a bird, if the people i were with were fellow non legits we could get to camp in less than a minute -_- just alot of things are aw hole lot easier lol

im not buying this "fishing bots are allowed" argument.

find an official SE correspondence or a quote from the website detailing this policy... hell, i would even buy a screenshot from a GM.

SE has policies stating that a GM may declare the use of a third party program as a violation of the EULA. The only text pro-bot from SE is a poorly worded Q/A from over 3 years ago stating something like "please turn off your scripts before you leave your keyboard, as unattended gameplay will throw the game out of balance.

Lots of people lack the time to hit the hard-fatigue 200 fish limit. Lots of people lack the physical ability to fight a fish with the skill that a bot can. Everyone who does not use a bot/exploit have no access to fish weight. It does affect other users, and the language that SE has adopted puts GMs in actionable situations when they encounter bots. The only challenge to the GM is verifying that the player is a bot (this can be quite impossible many times).


That being said... i have yet to find one person who feels offended by the widespread use of fishbots. It's quite retarded actually, that so many fishbots exist--a technical violation of the rules, and everyone who buys sushi benefits from it. The only poor shmuck is the PS2 fisher or the self-righteous mariner who feels that fishbotting is morally repugnant.

I just get suspended cause of fishing bot, which GM call it as absentee play.
DO NOT ever have "fishing bots are allowed" in your mind.

As what I experienced, GM wont check every player who is fishing by bot or not aggressively, unless you are doing it obviously, such like zero time stamina kill or keep fishing even you have filled inventory.
But ppl will report you if they doubt it or just dislike you, then GM will start to investigate into it.

Once you got 1st suspend, you got a dirt on your account.
GM will monitor your activity often and the guy reported you has possibilty to do it again. Many of my friends got their perm ban not too long after they use 3rd party tools again.

Just some of my feeling.. I will get another account for just fishing only and stop using bot/macro on my main character.
Not worth to risk losing a 100+ day playing character for this.

From my experiance, you can fleehack and POS hack all you want fine, but if someone even thinks your cheating and send a GM tell, thay will cetch ya.

But after being caught and suspended for 3 days (tho was near 4 days since thay made me wait till after midnights Pacific). I just wondering if they check on you without a GM tell made by someone, or only when someone reports you :/

Was planing only speed/POS hack in assults and ENMs and other random BCs.

Probubly wait a few months to even try pos.exe again. getting caugh too soon again probubly means perma.
