I point you towards bittorrent. Get the client (Azureus is good), and then search google for torrent search engines.
The download will not be fast though - getting the original disks back is preferable.

It's a peer to peer file sharing program, designed for speed and efficiency with very large files.
Azureus is (one of many) clients, a program you run that downloads the stuff.
The torrent search engines search for .torrent files, which contain the information Azureus needs to download the files you want. Basically you just open up the torrent in Azureus, and start it and let it download.

Chances are that it is a ISO file which you will need a program like PowerISO to laod

Hes right that it might be an ISO file. Its still a torrent of course, but thats just the protocol for file transfer that it uses. A torrent file is just a file linking you to the stream of other users sharing the file.
Your download speed will be determined by how many users are online sharing the file, and most torrent downloading clients give you faster or better download connections if you are sharing more files, so its a good idea to share your other torrents. (I think you gotta make them torrent/hash files first - its not like gnutella/limewire)

well i cheat
I share loads and loads of files no-one else knows exist, and i edited the data files for the client to say that, I have really uploaded many gigs of stuff, when ive actually uploaded practically nothing.
Worth doing^^.
