Ok to clarify some things you wont really find anything that will "hack" experience or money. SE have been quite clever by making the server not trust data sent to it from the client (the souce of many hacks for other games). Now dont get me wrong I am not say it can be done im saying that as far as the users on this forum are concerned no such things exist.

Now what you may find if you are VERY VERY VERY lucky is an exploit. The best one to do what you want would be a "dupe" whuch will allow you do duplicate items. So in theory you could dupe high value items or money itself, and maybe (depending on the nature of the dupe) dragon pages to get xp (though these are rae/ex so its not very likely). But dont get your hopes up as currently I know of no working dupe exploits. Some did exist and were quickly patched and it is belived that people using them have been banned.

So long story short you will have to play the game properly to advance. What you will find hear is information and scripts that will allow you to do things like fish automatically but even this requires work and effort ingame.

As for all the other comments yes I know its tempting but we should at least try and educate his lack of understanding before ripping on him. If he persists then hes fair game

I know that the servers are very well guarded as far as information transfers and the server itself not being fooled by faulty data transmissions not made from the client itself... Square-Enix is a lot smarter than most people give them credit for.

However, it won't be entirely too difficult to fake the client into thinking the server sent it data. Of course, this won't help you in the means of EXP or Gil, but as far as stats go...

I dunno, just food for thought. I wouldn't personally recommend pursuing this, considering it would be quite easy for SE to find out what exactly's going on. You'd be lucky to keep your accoutn with this kind of play.

Actually your wrong a little bit. What they did was encrypt the packets so the user (if one knows what they are doing) could not use them. Now decrypting them isn't that hard (and its been done already) but I'm not gonna post them.The method of encryption was actually a standard new mmorpgs use which was a bad idea to use something a couple of other games use. The more times something is repeated, the less secure it becomes.

If you know the method of encrypted, the key, the memory address of the key, or the memory address of the buffer everything is stored in before sent or after received say something. That would help me prove or disprove 1000 theories people have about NM hunting and possibly look in the right direction to make NAs competitive in that field.

Indeed, those japanese players must have the decryption on the packets. My ping is routinly between 100-150, and so it is for a lot of the people I have on my friends list. I can't see japanese players having a ping that would account for how good they are at HM hunting. There's something else they are doing.

NM hunting/packet sniffing is the reason I joined this site. I'd love to see a script that reads the packets and tells us when and where a NM is about to spawn. I know the japanese that I've seen NM hunting are using some sort of sniffer. There is no way in hell that 5 Rdm's know when to use their 2 hour seconds before the NM spawns, without a packet sniffer.

There are many tuts on how to bypass MD5.
