Powerleveller services how do they do it? : FFXI General Discussions

2 of my Uni friends got powerlevelled from level 1 to 40 in 1day.

You guys have any idea how those people do it?

Buy a L40 account.

I didnt say they bought a level 40 account i said they got level from 1 to 40 in 1 day.

Just as easily as you can swear up and down to us saying 'yes they did, yes they did', I can swear up and down to you saying 'no they didn't, no they didn't'. There are lots of people here who like to impress 15 year olds by claiming things like that. Don't believe everything you hear.

In All reality i have seen something almost like that i have actually seen a buddy who is a whm/smn 75/37 powerlevel his playstation 2 account when it first came out on PS2 to lvl 31 in about 12 hours. so i guess it could be done... but thats some HARDCORE power leveling.

i've also seen online places that offer those kinds of services. allthough i'm not to sure how efficient they are at them, it also requires that you give them complete access to your FFXI account for 24 + hours so that alone would make me not want to use them plus whats the point i love playing all my characters no matter what level i currently have a mule or my mains at.

It's probably done with the assistance of several high level WHM. Think about it, if you are literally getting healed everytime you get hit and at higher levels not even really getting hit because your gang of healers get all the hate from healing you so much. It is a stupid stupid thing to want to do, but it could happen.

Essentially:
Have a HIGH dmg job with the best gear.
Have at least one RDM healing you.
Chain even / low tough mobs.

Repeat until satisfied.


Aka, you'll not PL a whm or brd to 40 in 24 hours...

Steps to PL:

Need High level WHM

1. Have character being PL attack a mob
2. Have WHM use heal on the PLing character until they attract aggro
3. Have PLing character kill the mob

Rinse - Repeat

The mob attacks the WHM because he draws more aggro with the healing than the PLing character. I would say that it would be a lot of work to get a character to 40 in 24 hours, but feasable once you got the process down. I.e. knew exactly what areas to fight in and when and had the right weapons for upgrades already available. Armor wouldn't matter much because the PLing character only takes a couple hits before the WHM pulls aggro.

I see, but it cost them 50$ for the service.

That's it? I'd totally pay that.

You know, if you actually play the game for awhile you'll probably make freinds that will powerlevell you for free, or for a small fee in Gil or Items. I have been powerlevelled for a few levels on MANY occasions because I made a friend by playing wisely and they did it as a favor.

pling this i know, as a whm in the game i have pled many people the most lvls someone has aquired during pling has been 20 in 24 hours from 1 to 20
would have been more but at the time my whm was not a high enough lvl to pl through qufim the 40 in 24 hours seems a bit much but you never know it could happen

I've read about similar power leveling services for FFXI and I remember reading on some forum a long time ago saying these people have insider GM's that actually just change your character stats without having to level. I don't know if this is indeed true or not, but if it were, it wouldn't suprise me. FFXI is just so jacked up now with everything.. Especially with these IGE farmers.

If definatly can happen, hell 1-30 can be done in 24 hours n/p we did it as a LS static no PL'ing allowed just good gear foods and good players. So with a few PL's helping out a party it would be more than easy to get to 40.
