What is a better damage dealing job my friend thinks drk and I think rng I MUST PROVE I AM RIGHT. Please help me out before my head explodes.......um yeah thanks

just let him watch a level 75 rng with hellfire +1 doing slugshot -> barrage -> eagle eye -> slugshot. can take down almost anything.

Range Acc gear is much cheaper than Acc gear, so Rngs are better, and you never see more then 4 drks in a Dynamis =P.
But really rngs do more dmg cause arrows are stronger to certain enemys ((flying and worms)) but scythe arent strong against anything.

Rng is the better dd imo, but keep in mind that arrows/bullets dont come cheap and you have to keep a endless supply of em on ya. very expensive habbit.

RNG is usually better... one thing, they hit hard, and thier tp charged up is usually the fastest.

Ranger is the best damage dealer in the game.
If you want to be the only class that can deal more damage than a blackmage go ranger.
At level 60 here is the list of damage dealers from highest to lowest damage.
RNG/SAM, BLM/SMN, DRK/SAM, DRG/SAM.
