If you are at your computer while running a bot is it illegal? (see Rules of Conduct: abesentee play in Service and Support on Playonline Viewer).

Yea macroing while afk is illegal.

I think he means is it illegal if you are at your computer while the bot is running. As in youc an respond to tells and move you simply arnt pushing the fish button.

"For all you that think using bots are illegal look it up in the rules. They don't ban for you using bots UNLESS YOU ARE AFK. So you can be watching tv and using a bot and when they ask you feel free to say "Yes I am using a bot but I am at the key board". They don't condone bot users but it is in your rights to use one as long as you are watching the game. Allakazam has an article on it and at I researched it further in the player contract and it seems to be true. On a side note people are reporting bot users.... I personally had 3 GM tells in the last week but was there to answer them. Didn't deny using bot, hell they read the same forum. So the tricks you post here they know about. Think I am on their radar now. oh well once I figure out a call command all I have to do is turn the volume up and I can bascially sleep while using the bot and nothing anyone can do about it."

this is a case in all MMORPG's.... for example

Endless Ages.... in order to level your melee / gunning skills, you have to kill a mob a few levels above you.... some people created macros/bots and went into places where melee monsters could not reach, then aim down and keep shooting the same spot and another would spawn in the same spot causing a link and therefore never a shortage in creatures. This was OK as long as you were not idle while botting, otherwise if a gm saw you, you would have 15 mins to get back to your computer or else the gm would kill you or spawn a HNM type monster..........
