Sand overly white? : FFXI General Discussions

Is it just me or is the sand in FFXI way way way too bright. I mean when I goto valkurm dunes in midday the sand looks like snow. Is there anyway to fix this. Like turning the contrast down or something? but i don't know how to do that

Not that I know of... It's one of FFXI's many downsides...

I always hated that too. I think with windower there is a way to turn the gamma down, thats usually what I did.

You can actually mess with that in the FFXI Config in-game or out of game.

I haven't used it in a while, but I know it's there.

It SHOULD be in Menu > Config > Gameplay

If it's not, keep looking in the different ones till you find a section with Gamma.
