Not possible. Most things are decided on the server so you would have to some how get the server to speed up and which in turn would also speed up the monster.
Very little is trusted from the client by the server.

Yeah, the client does not generate damage and then tell the server how much you do, it's the other way around. The server tells your client how much damage you did. Your client can't just make up damage numbers every 1 second to tell the server how much damage you're doing to an entity.
Speedhack did/does however work for movement speed, but only because it simulates flee.

Can they detect serverside that you are using the speedhack if you're using a thief job, or does someone have to report you?

Pretty sure they announced many months back that they have a way to track this. Pretty much, if clients movement speed is fast, the server checks for if it's possible for this client to be under the effect of flee. If it is not possible (IE: you're speedhacking on a monk/warrior), then the server whines and creates a page for a GM. The GM then comes to you invisible, sees you speedhacking as a non theif, and can take action from there.

But what if I was indeed a thief or a thief sub with the possibility to flee?

The speedhack doesn't simulate flee other than you will look like you are going very fast to other people. It actually forces your computer to send more packets to the server at a higher rate. Because your client is somewhat trusted when it comes to the location of your character you can appear to be moving faster.
Square has countered this to some extent by slowing your character down if you use programs like gear. This is the only speedhack that I know of that works with FFXI. If you try it you will see that your character will run fast for approx 2-3 seconds and then appear to run normal again. If you turn off gear while running normal you will actually find that your running at a snail pace. If you turn gear on for a second and then turn it off this won't trigger, but it's a fine balance of doing it for too long and being automatically slowed down or looking very funny because you have a second of speed and then a second of normal speed.
Needless to say speedhacking is not recommended in FFXI as they have already banned numerous people for it.

therandom";p="48492 (!empty($user->lang['WROTE'])) ? $user->lang['WROTE'] : ucwords(strtolower(str_replace('_', ' ', 'WROTE'))): Can someone make a hack that simulates having a Kraken Club? Sure, I'll plant trojans in the Square-Enix server farm and enable it for all XU users.
