Stupid things to /shout ?? : FFXI General Discussions

Maybe can start a thread with this ... maybe everyone will think this is stupid and only mine will be here

Was in Bastok last night (Ramuh); someone was /shout'ing this for hours:

"namehere">>> THIS IS A HEAL BOT! I AM WORKING ON HEALING MAGIC AND ENHANCING MAGIC LEVELS! Help me out, come by here even if you don't need to be healed!!!!!!

"namehere">>> I will randomly give 1 person 10k every hour! Please Help Me Out!! Come to <pos> by Mog House stairs!

Wish I could remember the person name lol. A good whm will never have to level up these two magic skill levels. Mine cap before I level nearly every time. The only time they don't, is if I get a really good NIN tank and all I have to heal them with is Regen II. 60whm so far ^^

Lol im a 75 whm now and my spells still arnt caped, they always linger about 5 levels below the cap . . . well except for divine I skill that up for ballista ^.^

guess I was trying to get at the fact that he was /shouting that they were using a bot to lvl magic skills.

yeah, mine aren't capped yet either ... but they usually get pretty close by the time I level. ^^ Can't speak for lvl 75 though lol ... I'm no where near that yet nice job ;;

Hehe yea the fact that he was shouting that he was using a bot was pretty comical XD

Raising skills, even healing magic (what whm does all the time in party), takes much longuer at higher lvls... At 70+ you rarely cap it by the time you get the next lvl. At lvl 72 whm im still several lvls behind cap in healing magic... Many factors can slow it even more (partying with ninjas for exemple). That is why magic raising bots are very uselful (because raising it outside of parties is a pain). Shouting you are using one however is incredibly stupid !

Yea right next to final fantasy I love the Suikoden series, the stories are just to awesome and fast paced XD 2 was by far the best but 1,3, and 4 were awesome too

I beat 3 but when i started 4 I was already playing FF11. So I have not finished it. I did Cheer everything Snow got punched in the face that was Great!

Well, I find it really annoying how Remora seems to be a prostitution server, everytime I enter sandy I see people shouting sexual comments. And in Jeuno I've seen alot of

/shout [mithra] [hand] [job] [Can I have it?]

That is really annoying -.-

That not just on one server. : ( I had a post on that but edited since it kind of something eveyone knows but no one want to talk about.

Heh, my absolute favorite:

"Call a GM on me I am using a fish bot!" spammed.

This was one of the early fish bots that was modified to spam that after a few hours the player was afk fishing. I was shocked to still see the bot available on the Tault website after the merger... though I think it has been deleted not too long ago
