Summerfest Explained : FFXI General Discussions

There are 3 parts to it:

1st:

Quest with 1 person thats is not your race/sex
Reward = Onoko Yukata (Blue for Male/Light Purple for Female) (Lvl:1 Def:1 )

2nd:

Quest with 4 characters (different times and only 1 per game day) with different race/sex (and not same as first^)
Reward = Lord's Yukata or Ladie's Yukata (Same colors^^) (Lvl:1 Def:2 Goldfish scooping ability enhanced**)

3rd:

Quest with any character (even your same sex/race)
Reward = Fireworks or Chocobo Tickets



It is that detailed but its suposed to just let you know what is about.

** : Goldfish Scooping is believed to be a future quest/event so it may be worth getting (I did and it was fun)

Praise you, seriously. I spent 2 hours online trying to figure out what the heck all the fuss was about. I got that 1st quest kimono thing and that's cool and all, but I was confused as to what exactly I had to do to get the 2nd one done. I like this Summerfest thing and all, but I'm kinda looking forward to having things go back to normal. Other opinions?

i got my Lady's Yukata.

I'm rockin a brand new Lord's Yukata and I couldn't be happier. It is very flattering to my Taru figure and who couldn't use ENHANCED GOLDFISH SCOOPING ABILITY!!! I mean that's what it's all about right, scooping goldfish and dressing like a short fat purple Geisha.

Also, after you get your Lord's/Lady's Yukata you can do the moogle quest with whoever you want and receive some lovely Summer Fans and Festival Fans.....I have no idea what these are for but they look cool when you use them!
