Okay, I have looked around and I currently see 2 synthing bots for XU and 1 fishing bot with synth functions loaded into it.
The two synthing bots I have found were:
FFXI Auto Synth Script
&
AWMax's Master Crafter Script for FFXI
Okay.... Why don't I like these two? Well, the first uses color/pixel recognition to find items and works from there. The second just relies on your inventory being sorted such that crystal + item1 + item2 are in line.
Personally, I think they are great attempts at a synthing bot, but not executed well. Most users don't know how to find pixel colors or edit scripts to make them work, so the first bot wont work for them. Other users like to synth LOTS of stuff and would spend more time setting up the inventory for the synth bot to work then it would take to synth it manually.
I bring this up only because another 3rd party app have a VERY good Synthesis bot. It works VERY well and doesn't require editing of the script. The only editing is adding recipies into the cookbook, and many are added already.
Thank You,

The FFXIService has alot of item info in it. But nobody has used it yet. I'll see if I can convert a script for you and upload it.

I would like that very much. Thank you for your response. Does the 3rd party app macro that I linked in help? It uses a sub application to decided the recipe and such. I like that... I just want a good synth bot with XU as XU is much more stable and high quality.

mazdaspeedrx7";p="57850 (!empty($user->lang['WROTE'])) ? $user->lang['WROTE'] : ucwords(strtolower(str_replace('_', ' ', 'WROTE'))): does it have a cookbook like what hexfury mentioned?? how hard is it to change menu from nebimonites to lets say making arrows? While it's pretty simple it still requires editing.

quick question...
people speak of fishing nebs etc etc, how do you guys bot the nebs with the XUfisher?
if I remember correctly...nebs are in umm the place near Norg, I havent played FFXI in a while, dont remember, SSG (Sea Serpent Grotto..?) not sure...anyways, arent their stygian pugils or something that own pretty much anyone without a fishing partner...
seems like itd be hard to bot those..
or do we have a bot for use on the boat to selbina<-->saru(forget if thats where it goes)
im gnna get premium tomorrow to see the bots you guys have, but was just wondering thanks..!!

I used the bot to fish in SSG 24 hours a day for half a year, I think it's up to the challenge.

is there still that zoning thing, every hour or so need to zone in order to continue catching, or is it now changed to a max amount of fish every JP day?
I hope there are plenty of instructions for the bot lol...i dont necessarily suck at figuring things out, but the last bot I had....I had to ask the creator a !@#$%^&* load of stuff in order to make mine work, since usually they are made to work for the person who made them.

Actually my bot is made for other people, I use none of the default stuff since they're too basic.
As for fishing specific details I encourage you to go visit a forum dedicated to fishing like www.lisaarndt.com instead. Reading one of the FAQs there should get you started.
