So, recently I've noticed the lack of party invites for BLM now adays, so I've picked up the skill of solo playing.
Usually I ran around Boyada Tree and did gobbue and crabs, or went up to that uglyhoweveryouspell range and do king buffolo, but tonight I decided to do something different.
To get to my point, if you're not fimiliar with the blm solo tech., basicly we gravity, nuke, sleep, rest, etc... its not that exciting, but it sure passes the time. So I'm killing puddings, and I kill about three of 'em, and start getting into the groove, when I pull one, cast a spell, waste Elemental Seal, due to a resisted gravity, and bind it. I start casting my next round of spells when the name turns from red to white, and depops.
Now mind you, it was down to about 60% at the time of depop, and it wasn't that far out of its pop range. So I'm not exactly sure what happened. I've tested it a bit, and had it happen to me a couple of times, but only with bind. I do not run out of casting range from the mob, unless stun is down, which case in all depop moments I was not out of casting range!
Just wondering if this is just an area exclusive thing (due to the fact that I've never had it happen before), or if anyone else has experienced this wonder waste of time.
Sorry about the long post, just kinda weird and possibly a way to get out of trouble if you need to.

i never had pudding despawn on me unless i try to pull it back to camp from quite a distance. basicly what u wanna do is start with gravity. if gravity resist, bind. if bind resist, just run and zone. the zone's right in the little tunnel behind the camp.
if gravity isn't resisted, start nuking right away. burst2 if you have. tier 4 other wise. 3 nukes should be enuf to kill the pudding before gravity even wears off.

Not really having a hard time killing the mobs themselves, infact averaging about 4k an hour. Just wanted to know if/when I bound the mob itself, if thats what caused it to depop, or if it was just a lack of interest in me.
I checked it out, and the mob has depoped in the following situations; casting spell, running away, just walking away from it with gravity.
Maybe its me, maybe its the cold medicine, who knows.
---
So I continued to check it out, and I just assume that when I bind I trick the game into thinking I'm running away from the mob despite the fact that I did not run away in many instances. It simply depoped, whether I was casting on it, or just standing right next to it. Maybe a new exploit to depoping mobs via bind and simply walk right out to spell casting range, lol.

That happens when you are out the mobs range for a period of time, doesn't matter if its in its pop range or not, happens to me when I'm pulling coffer mobs in Eldieme Necropolis.
