ok I just have to say this. Good luck and I hope you accomplish what you set out to do. And I wish you the best of luck in prison when they catch you for hacking the server. because that is what it would take to do all that you wish to accomplish. so yeah best of luck. and have fun.

there was a purpose to that post. the purpose was to say that what he was suggesting was impossible. i just thought later that i might be sounding like an asshat so i posted the second one

its not impossible, but you have to have some serious skill to even think about it.

Not to mention you almost have to have an inside person to develop the gil thing. All that stuff is server side, and you would have to have some first hand knowledge of their server to know how it checks for things like gil being created out of nowhere. Otherwise you would most likely be detected.

To top it all off, the main problem would be availability of the program. If this program was developed, the more people that had it, the more likely it would be nerfed. You would have to perhaps sell it to a select group of people for a high price, and even then you couldnt guarantee that they wouldnt be banned.

You are not creating gil out of no where. If you thought that then that was not the purpose. It's like all the maps and buff programs that are currently being use to locate NMs and or NPCs in a given area. all you are doing is taking the fishing bot and creating a program inwhich the program controls your character while you are alseep (giving that you are a high enough character) and instead of fishing or crafting it follows a mapping program or protocol and kills (repositioning and recalibrating for new respawns) just to gather gil. ie go in having 0 gil come out, when you wake up with 100,000 gil for it just roamed killing everything that checked in a category. Resting only when your HP is down after a battle by 50% or knowing where the rezone points are it zones then rest then reenters the area.

It would constantly recailibrate itself and have learn defaults to search your giving job choice to either do spells (gaining skill improvements) or doing skillchain movements.

Not tampering with the internal structure of the game or it's design, just another buff program that expands and incorporates on what is already in use.

rofl. do some research first. acutally READ what my post was about. using bots is not the same as what the OP was talking about. I said that hacking serverside could land you in jail. not hacking clientside. so yeah think before you post or flame. and just for your info....I don't play FFXI right now and have NEVER used a bot when playing it. way to make yourself sound smart

I do read what I post. And if you don't play FFXI right now then I thank you for reading the post. The post was meant for those that play the game. And it was to start a conversation.

Not once was the question of the post talking about a sever-side hack. It was always talking about a "Bot" or buff program/application. It posed a question as to how far advanced have we as hackers have become. We create programs to speed dail others, create viruses, create PHP script, and other applications. And to have a bot program for just fishing , whereas to some, is a great "Tool". I am not and will never be a fisherman. So I wanted a program that, on Client-side, did the same as the fishing bot or buff program except it did it with low level mobs, Easy Prey, and it walked in a pattern that is and will always updates itself.

Please note that I said Client-side.

So if you don't play a game then why comment on the subject. Now who reads (sound) like a completely mentally challenged individual. However, I will not point fingers at you or blame your comments. Appearently you needed or asked for clarification. Your point is still really unclear, and you don't seem to know what you're talking about. You're basically in want of a CLIENT-SIDE program that can OWN THE GAME for you? Its possible, but do some research first.

later on you went on a bot that wanted to do the paths but what you where talking about originally where all server side hacking. You seriously do know what you want but you dont know what you are talking about because what you want would take a long time to create. while you can make some of them easily it wont happen. if you really wanted to just get your 99,999,999gil just use artmoney and get it. its client side like you wanted and you would have 99,999,999gil in a few seconds but it would not be real

We arent talking about server side hacking. We are talking about client side exploits or packet manipulation. Some say that server-side hacking(which is very illegal) is the only key to changing gil values. He was merely inquiring as to if there was a way to do this client side.
